Meiji Dori Walking Snaps

A few walking snaps on Meiji Dori around Harajuku :deco2:

Tokyu Plaza. There was a comme des garcons play pop-up shop inside that was really cute. It was a glassed-in kiosk counter where you just requested their key items like t-shirts, polos, sneakers. This entrance into Tokyu Plaza is beautiful and the geometric mirrors continue into the entrance.

A lot of the ad space around WEGO was open. Not all too surprising but I’ll just keep my assumptions to myself.

In Tower Records.
Falo. A magazine for outdoor life/fashion.
A perk of visiting is getting to see magazines that I haven’t had access to before. Also saw the launch issue of TOKYOViVi. Beautifully done magazine that was like a US meets Japan layout design. I wanted to buy it but it wasn’t really my taste, however it was everywhere and very alluring.

I never get tired of these long, descriptive, and almost always decorative display signs in entertainment stores

Aaah, so relaxing! XDD Maybe it sounds strange, but it feels good to see Meiji-doori is still the same way it always was. :) I`m going to Korea this summer, I`m thinking about going to Japan too even if only for a couple days… Aahh~~~ memories :)
Awe that would be a lovely addition to your Korea trip!
I love how I felt like I was taking a stroll in your post, haha! I need to get my hands on a Comme Des Garcons sweater for my bf. n_n
Y U NO BUY ME SUM OF DEM CHUZ? those are SLAMMIN…sorry for talking this way…lol…
why do all foreign pictures look like there in a dream?
AGREED
So much loveliness! I always enjoy your snaps, they are always so clear & bright with such attention to detail :)
Did you buy anything from the Commes des Garçons popup? ;) hehe
Awe thank you! I hadn’t had as much practice with this camera for large scale shots so I appreciate that a lot :)
Unfortunately CDG didn’t have the top or cardi I was wanting so I didn’t buy anything.
I love your snaps!!
yeah im always amazed at the amount of work that goes into the hand written promos
I can’t believe the shoes
All the shoes look awesome! *U* Tokyu Plaza has such enormous/long elevators too!
Ah it all looks so lovely and happy! Comme des garcons ftw~
Awww nice snaps! It makes me want to go back!! Its fun walking about Harajuku although I hate bumping into those multi-lingual guys on Takeshita-dori who try to sell you clothes from a shop down some side street… haha. Hope you didn’t bump into them :P
For me Harajuku is a little bit chaotic, I prefer Shibuya, but anyway your pics are always beautiful!
Lovely shots! Looks like there was a lot of things to see.
Love your photos!
Do you think WEGO will close soon? It’s such a shame.
I don’t think it would close. Especially since there are WEGO stores all over. Most extreme scenario might be that it moves to a more prominent spot with more like-minded neighbors. SPINNS would probably move with them. But that’s just all out my own butt lol!
TOKYOViVi does look very nice doesn’t it~ I got tempted too heehe
MEG! I love MEG! :D cute shopping day~
