Kin no Kura Izakaya
Wednesday, Jun. 13, 2012 | 16 Comments

Stopped one night with some friends at Kin no Kura where we ate & drank & reminisced. I had some sort of dessert. I can’t remember what it was anymore! Cheesecake? :deco13: All I remember is it tasting fantastic and maybe mumbling “this is the greatest thing I’ve ever eaten.” But to be fair I had already downed a Rickey.

I clicked that Ricky link… what a weird CM lol But it looks nice to drink :)
It grows on you when you see it repeat over & over & over at a karaoke bar, hahaha
Lol at the rickey link xD
this desserts looks delicious!!
Mmmm food!
I dont understand this Rickey drink. You mean these liquers are under suntory? But in the link I see Malibu and other non Japanese liquer.
Confused. Would love to try the Yogurito, Peach and Lychee ones! On my to buy list for my next trip to Japan!
Ah understandable since Rickey is a type of drink rather than 1 type of alcohol. It’s a campaign to push the use of Suntory’s liqueurs like Midori (which they own, are jp distributors of, etc.)
Oh. Now I understand. Thanks for explaining!
the no.1 thing that i love about japan is prob the izakayas, wait there are the bookstores..and LoFT ..and MUJI well i love lots of things about japan but izakayas are definitely up there
