I feel like there is nothing more satisfying than knowing you used your 'stuff' to its full potential!! I also sympathize with the need for buying something....ANYTHING for instant gratification. it sucks though because my closet is bursting with just STUFF. If you don't wear it buying it won't make you, I feel. Honestly the only thing that's a MUST I'd say is a daily moisturizer with spf in it. Your future 30 yr old self will be thankful! I purge fairly often but less & less as I become a better shopper. I probably purge twice a year now (due to switching seasons.) And by that I mean I donate the clothes or send things to my sister that I think she might like. Same with some makeup. If it's still good I'll disinfect it (using this method http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPoMpBlmUBQ ) and send to my little sis (shadows, blushes.) I burn it all in the yard \:D/
