Sick for days (35)

sick The headache was more than just a headache. I woke up Tuesday with a horrid flu. I got through getting dressed for work and then hit a brick wall of misery. Mike suggested I stay home instead, so I did. It then got worse, a lot worse. So I stayed home Wednesday too. I wanted to stay home today as well (seeing as I hurled this morning while getting dressed for work… ) but I didn’t want to get too far behind on my projects and I’m running out of leave hours. Sick leave should not count against you, or you should get WAY more than 5 days worth a year. Thankfully I could use my vacation time as sick leave (thankfully? Yea, sure, whatever… ) I’m working my day off (President’s day) to make back 8 hours of leave (at least that IS an option I can choose, I know I’m lucky.)

This has been the worst cold + flu season EVER for me. I’ve had 3 different flus already! They’ve all been different. Like this one, I actually had a fever I couldn’t shake. It would go up, then down, then back up.

Blegggggh, I feel like death *sad face times a million.* I’m probably ranting incoherently as well. Pardon, I’ve been delusional for days…

Headache (22)

I have this sudden severe headache :girlpissy: bleeeegh. I’ll probably go to bed right after this! Hahah

Thanks everyone for your support on my last entry. It really helped me deal with that initial pissed-off “ness” of the situation. I still have a week to wait (my contacts are being shipped in.) So I’ll try not to think much about it (yea… that’ll be so easy!)

But other things still move forward. Our mortgage is actually one step from completion! *gasp!* Got a new move in date today as well. March 31st Again… not gonna really think about it. But it was so weird b/c it’s like I blinked today and suddenly our mortgage was all set up & ready for signing. Then again, it HAS been a year or talks & form-ness, hahahah

the package leaves something to be desired I bought Urban Decay’s Blow Lip Plumper this Saturday. I’d try it every time I’d go into Sephora and loved it… so I finally bought it! LOVEEEEEEE . It doesn’t burn like a mother fckr like all the other plumpers. It’s numbing/cooling and really does work. It’s such a pointless item if you think about it, but I don’t care. I CAN’T REALLY wear eye make with my glasses (pointless, you can’t see it) so now it’s lips focusing time!!
