Now living 1,000 miles away.

I’m all moved in and unpacked. I was supposed to be online September 20th, but Verizon is a horrible lying company who told us very many different excuses as they constantly lost our order and pushed our online date back. So Monday I switched to AT&T ISP and I’m online finally! Many of you might have known why I was offline through letters .

So now I’m in the DC Metro area. I like it the city, it’s great. It’s nice to have public transportation too. The apartment is pretty nice. Very clean with new appliances! I have some photos of the inside. This is only of a few rooms. Mike’s brother moved in and so I didn’t take pictures of the rooms he uses because they are so very messy now. OUR BEDROOM and MORE. We need to get some paintings and whatnot. But I’m kind of broke and jobless right now :ill:.

There are a lot of stores in the area. HERE IS A LINK to a little page I put together on a few of the stores. I’ve gotten some things. PHOTO 1, PHOTO 2, PHOTO 3. Wish I could afford to really splurge! X3

I’ve been pretty lonely though. Especially with Mike working now and I’m still job hunting {which was hard with no internet access to submit resumes!}. Though before I left Mississippi, my pen pal わかば sent me a beautiful package and letter. Then after I moved I felt SO lonely because I don’t have any friends here. She was SO sweet and sent me a postcard from おきなわ (Okinawa), then sent me two letters and a lovely package! I was so happy because I didn’t feel so lonely anymore. So, ありがとう！！

Mike and I went to DC yesterday. Here are some photos from 1 of the places we went to, the National Postal Museum! What can I say, I LOVE post!

   Oh Jen, I’m so glad the move went smoothly despite internet problem. I’m glad you like your new apartment and surronding. You deserve a good place to live away from all those annoying neighbors back in Miss. Glad everything worked out for ya and best of wishes with the job hunt!!!
