• Knitted on a Christmas Stocking for my little sister
• Attempted to patch up Dad’s 27 year old knitted Christmas stocking; failing
• considered updating photo archive

My office is doing their yearly field trip tomorrow. They leave at 1 pm and end at 6pm or later. It sounds really fun and almost everyone is going, cept me. I’m not going. It’s a lot of walking throughout DC and here is my list of reasons why I’m not going:

• It will be VERY icy with snow beginning in the morning and continuing into rain all day long
• I am still very very very unused to the cold weather here. Right now, my body is ready for 60’s from Mississippi, not these 18’s and 20’s here
• PMS & Cramps galore

That’s all I felt like typing. I just wish they had planned something indoors really. OH well, next year.

I really miss Pookie a lot. I think about her and smile with her all the time. I wish I could hold her one last time. Is it pathetic to think the only person in the world who ever truly got me was my beloved kitty? Pookie could see right through me. Right through my bullshit. She never played mind games or… yea she did. HAHAHAHA, THAT CRAZY KITTY!!!! I LOVE HER SO MUCH :3 still.

   You should try living here in wpg for cold weather. It get’s too -40 somtimes. (sorry…our weather system is different and I dont know what it would be for you) But ya.
   So sorry about your kitty. I know how you feel..losing a animal friend that was close to you..is very hard…

   Awh. I’m sorry you aren’t able to go to your works Christmas party. I’m sure next year you’ll go!    It’s still in the 70’s here in Orlando. Not trying to make you jealous but I wish it was slightly chillier so I can at least feel relatively excited about Christmas. Without that nippiness I feel like going to the beach. (sigh)

    It’s so hard losing a pet. But sadly,one thing I have learned to lose is my cats. I’ve had one poisoned, two go randomly so sick on me that I had to put them down, and another one benig killed by a dog. You never forget your kitties and the spark the bring to your life. I just hope the ones I have now decide to stick around a lot longer.

    Hey Jen!!! I haven’t updated my blog in almost a week!! Been kinda busy & lazy all at the same time. I got the xmas package the other day..haven’t opened any of the gifts though.     very sweet of you to knit a stocking for your sister a pity you can’t go on the field trip, oh well; while they are out there in the cold you’ll be at home snuggled up in a blanket with a mug of hot chocolate..mm..lol. i never really had a pet, however i love cats and pookie sounded like a real sweet heart; losing a friend is hard. hope you feel better and take care~
