New plant bought on SALE!

Wednesday, 5月/9日 [2007年] // 21 Comments

I received my requested Brocade Home catalog speedily! The entire catalog is like a luscious dream. Inspiration if nothing else!! All I can think about is moving in 5 months. The painting & new TVs. But also, I feel worried because I’ve never painted so much before, or chosen colors. It’s scary. Like I think I want 2 colors, but side-by-side they SUCK!

I must stay focused.

I did see this terrace garden the other day that was FULL BLOWN inspiration. LOVEEEEEEEEEE it…
This is not my terrace garden ^____^;;, only inspiration

at night

during the day

I just love the use of the lights. It some how seems perfect rather than gaudy like most terrace lighting. And the plants are herbs and greenery, not flashy flowers. I got this article yesterday too about a container vegetable garden. TOTALLY gonna put one of THOSE together when we move!

Anyway. Sorry I haven’t been around online much. Mike’s sick too. Poor guy

The view outside is gorgeous! Especially at night! I need to hire a decorater like you when I get my own place! Haha, but I suppose true home style comes from your own heart. Again, very beautiful.

What a beautiful terrace garden! I love that there are cushions out there for people to sit on and enjoy the view X333 The lights go well with the herbs. It’d be too overdone if there were colourful flowers there, as well.

the terrace garden is so cute! Im obsessed with looking through home catalogs. Me and my boyfriend are looking into buying a house and we’ve been searching for so long now, but los angeles is so expensive. I have all these ideas of how I want to decorate it (I have a binder full of nothing but torn out magazine clips and paint samples lol) Im just so ready to decorate I cant wait. Painting is tough stuff! I remember I painted my room with my boyfriend and my mom helping and it took us 5 hours just to finish. gah!

you should definetly try it! i think it’ll look great =)
you’re moving into a town home right? i don’t know if the town homes in the states re different than the ones here, i doubt they’re but im sure you get a little terrace right? it’s not like a balcony but..an actual terrace.
    hm im getting confused!

i don’t know what brocade is, i’m assuming some sort of ..store that sells zakka like life style things?!

you just gave me a GREAT IDEA yayy

That terrace looks BEAUTIFUL. I love the plants! 8D It takes me away to a different world… perhaps the countryside where they originally grew? It’s pretty. <3

The terrace garden is quite pretty Good luck with painting. My mother used to change her mind all the time about paint color and it was my most dreaded childhood chore, heh. Choose well the first time!

Terrace gardens seem to emulate happiness. I bet everyone who lives in a house with a terrace garden is happy.

Wow, pretty gardens… Those lights are cute! Yeah, choosing colors for your wall is a hard decision. Humm…I have a…rather random idea. Maybe you could take a picture of your wall and then “paint” it through PS or PSP. I don’t know if this works or not….but it’s worth a try XD

Oh man, it looks so pretty. I wish my garden was pretty and not an eyesore like right now.

Moving in 5 months. Wow! I love moving to a new house, except I don’t think I’ll be moving until the fall of 2008 when I go to college.

That terrace garden is soo pretty and soo you, ~

You guys have to paint yourself? Is it like they paint all the walls white and then you have to “color” them yourselves? Manuel’s grandma had a guys come and paint the ceiling and walls in the whole house, not including rooms or kitchen a few days ago. =P

Have a nice weekend. I wanna curl up and not be bothered, meh~

You got nice houses there… Love the pictures!!! I can never manage to keep a plant for myself. Because I always forget to water them. Maybe I should buy myself a catus. Because they won’t need watering that often! haha
