Candle Night~
Friday I got a few things including this COOL Japanese bath powder. I liked its affect MUCH more than last summer’s purchase
. I felt much more mentholated from this particular powder. Though its scent and look is almost exact to the original Calgon I grew up with! Hahahahha

This brand tends to have sandy-ish powders

Non-no, yummy popsicles, powders, and my hair bun for filler image
!
I also busted out my knitting. It’s been about 6 months, but I want to knit a bag. One for my camera. The one I knitted a long time ago is too frizzy for my camera, so I’m using cotton yarn.
ANYWAY, I’ll go into my bittersweet love for knitting later. Not only did I have to get familiar with knitting again, I didn’t realize how much Japanese knitting info I had forgotten!!! I forgot nearly ALL the kanji for knitting terms. Gaaaaah, so that was a bit depressing…

Yay, knitting. If only I knew how~ I’ve always admired your skills. I hope you start up your knitting blog again!
June 24, 2007 @ 3:41 am
Knitting!! Yay!! I recently got some new yarn! I’m gonna start knitting again too but I forgot how to do most things too.
;;
June 24, 2007 @ 3:43 am
I’ve tried knitting once or twice. But I don’t have the patience; I always give up.
’
However the images of the bags look real cute!
June 24, 2007 @ 3:50 am

June 24, 2007 @ 4:25 am
aw, sugoi! The candle light is very pretty. It’s amazing you can knit using japanese instructions, since I think it’s hard to do to begin with. I’m sure you’ll have it down again once you get back into the flow.
June 24, 2007 @ 7:03 am
Woww you got so many yarn!! I keep mine in a basket
The bag seems cute!
And your hair is so shiny
June 24, 2007 @ 11:08 am
Yeah….that bittersweet feeling. I haven’t knit in a while as well. I guess knitting is one of those winter hobbies for me. Those little bags are so adorable! Hope you’ll be able to understand the instructions again
June 24, 2007 @ 4:15 pm
hahahah thanks =D. you liek asia eh
? your scans are too cool *O* i downloaded some XD
June 24, 2007 @ 5:51 pm
OOh, those yarn bags look so cute. I was working on something a couple of months ago, but then I became too lazy to finish. XD
June 24, 2007 @ 7:29 pm
Awww the candle night photo is so cute~
I didn’t get to buy the most recent non-no ;___; they didn’t have it yet~
hahaha hair bun looks cute!!~^____________^
June 24, 2007 @ 7:30 pm
OHH YEAH~ I saw that picture of miho w/ the umbrella in one of the non-no magazines that I bought…i was like..omg!! jen’s layout!!~ cute~
June 24, 2007 @ 8:23 pm
Knitting is cool. I’ve always wanted to learn how to knit but it looks so complicated to learn on my own. Plus, i don’t have anyone to teach me, haha.
June 24, 2007 @ 8:28 pm
I don’t know how to knit. gah.
btw, i have this cool friend check out her dolls (yes, she knits!) –> ip2much.com/journal
June 24, 2007 @ 8:44 pm
luv your site! esp luv the scans! ive been searching for jap magz in our place ever since, but i couldn’t find any… thanks for uploading them!!! hope you upload more! ^o^
June 25, 2007 @ 2:39 am
Ah I suck at knitting… i’m more of a crochet person. I crochet at lightspeed minus a lot less speed. In other words, crap speed.
Anyway Brisbane’s in a drought so there’s a ban on watering and bathing with 4 minute restrictions on showers… damn you taunting me with your powder reviews and… siiigh. Looks so good…
June 25, 2007 @ 5:11 am
I wish I could knit; I could have knit myself a funky bag for my camera then
The foot’s still pained, by the way. And, no, the doctor didn’t give me anything for the swelling. Bloody useless!
June 25, 2007 @ 5:39 am
I love knitting! But sadly I’m not good at it and I have nobody to teach me. I know easiest way for example knitting in one direction without knowing how to FINISH. haha!
I guess this doesn’t count. Maybe I get to learn it in the future.
Love your photos! Not to mention that I love everything j-style! lol. the hair bun is cute! I got a new hair cut last week so lots of short layers which makes a bun or even a simple pony tail impossible. hahaha! XDDD
June 25, 2007 @ 2:00 pm
Haha, I used to try to knit and I failed. I kept perling and so I finally gave up. :o
That bun is cute. I read one of the bun tutorials and tried it and HAH! It was super cute. :>
June 25, 2007 @ 5:29 pm
I am so jealous of all your japanese magazines! I totally want to subscribe but it’s so expensive to get them to ship international.
June 25, 2007 @ 7:24 pm
Wow, look at all the goodies. ^__________^ Looks like you had a nice relaxing weekend.
I forgot about the Candle Night thingy, I knew I would.
June 25, 2007 @ 8:53 pm
whee, blue water! That looks so refreshing
I like Japanese knitting patterns - they have much cuter choices. I hate how American ones consist largely of ugly, ill-fitting sweaters and socks.
June 26, 2007 @ 9:33 am
jen-jen im ok.
i was a bit psychotic for a bit…
i love you lots for caring.
June 26, 2007 @ 10:14 am
Great looking stash of yarn there, I have a big project I’m trying to get started on….a soft huge baby blanket! First, I have to get the yarn wound up for me in a ball. I’m too lazy to do it myself and it’d be too much of a pain not to have it done.
June 26, 2007 @ 12:02 pm
Aww a cute bag for your camera. lol. I would knit, but I don’t have patience for it. I don’t have patience for anything that requires time or effort. lol.
June 26, 2007 @ 1:59 pm
wow that is crazy o_O; a whole case of knitting supply o_O;;; dont worry, i’m sure that u’ll slowly remember wat everything is ;3
June 26, 2007 @ 3:19 pm
It’s been a month since I came to my blog. :C Some loser I still am.
I never tried knitting. You have a lot of yarn! So many colours! Hopefully your knit-work goes perfectly.
