Candle Night~

Friday I got a few things including this COOL Japanese bath powder. I liked its affect MUCH more than last summer’s purchase . I felt much more mentholated from this particular powder. Though its scent and look is almost exact to the original Calgon I grew up with! Hahahahha

This brand tends to have sandy-ish powders

Non-no, yummy popsicles, powders, and my hair bun for filler image !

I also busted out my knitting. It’s been about 6 months, but I want to knit a bag. One for my camera. The one I knitted a long time ago is too frizzy for my camera, so I’m using cotton yarn.

ANYWAY, I’ll go into my bittersweet love for knitting later. Not only did I have to get familiar with knitting again, I didn’t realize how much Japanese knitting info I had forgotten!!! I forgot nearly ALL the kanji for knitting terms. Gaaaaah, so that was a bit depressing…

I’ve tried knitting once or twice. But I don’t have the patience; I always give up.
However the images of the bags look real cute!

aw, sugoi! The candle light is very pretty. It’s amazing you can knit using japanese instructions, since I think it’s hard to do to begin with. I’m sure you’ll have it down again once you get back into the flow.

Yeah….that bittersweet feeling. I haven’t knit in a while as well. I guess knitting is one of those winter hobbies for me. Those little bags are so adorable! Hope you’ll be able to understand the instructions again

Knitting is cool. I’ve always wanted to learn how to knit but it looks so complicated to learn on my own. Plus, i don’t have anyone to teach me, haha.

Ah I suck at knitting… i’m more of a crochet person. I crochet at lightspeed minus a lot less speed. In other words, crap speed.

Anyway Brisbane’s in a drought so there’s a ban on watering and bathing with 4 minute restrictions on showers… damn you taunting me with your powder reviews and… siiigh. Looks so good…

I wish I could knit; I could have knit myself a funky bag for my camera then

The foot’s still pained, by the way. And, no, the doctor didn’t give me anything for the swelling. Bloody useless!

I love knitting! But sadly I’m not good at it and I have nobody to teach me. I know easiest way for example knitting in one direction without knowing how to FINISH. haha! I guess this doesn’t count. Maybe I get to learn it in the future.

Love your photos! Not to mention that I love everything j-style! lol. the hair bun is cute! I got a new hair cut last week so lots of short layers which makes a bun or even a simple pony tail impossible. hahaha! XDDD

Haha, I used to try to knit and I failed. I kept perling and so I finally gave up. :o

That bun is cute. I read one of the bun tutorials and tried it and HAH! It was super cute. :>

I am so jealous of all your japanese magazines! I totally want to subscribe but it’s so expensive to get them to ship international.

Wow, look at all the goodies. ^__________^ Looks like you had a nice relaxing weekend.

I forgot about the Candle Night thingy, I knew I would.

whee, blue water! That looks so refreshing

I like Japanese knitting patterns - they have much cuter choices. I hate how American ones consist largely of ugly, ill-fitting sweaters and socks.

Great looking stash of yarn there, I have a big project I’m trying to get started on….a soft huge baby blanket! First, I have to get the yarn wound up for me in a ball. I’m too lazy to do it myself and it’d be too much of a pain not to have it done.

  24. Stacy said,

Aww a cute bag for your camera. lol. I would knit, but I don’t have patience for it. I don’t have patience for anything that requires time or effort. lol.
