Clarisonic and Butter London

I got this butter London polish at South Moon Under last night on the way to dinner. I love red and the glitter makes this perfect for the holidays! It’s called Chancer.
Chancer
Wear this deep, “crushed glitter” red when you are feeling particularly out of his league. He doesn’t deserve you anyway.
Their holiday collection is pretty if you like purple pastels and glitter. I’m so picky with nail colors lately. Many colors I just never wear. Like blue. My favorite colors to wear are red, gold, and jade. I used to not be so picky, meh~

So I finally started using my Clarisonic! Like I said it’s the Mia2. I got it on a great Black Friday deal from QVC that included a Philosophy face wash, extra “deep-pore” brush and at a great discounted price.
Plus I have until Jan 31st to try it out and return it no questions asked if I’m not happy.
I’ve always wanted one really but I am excited and nervous. I heard there can be a purging stage in the beginning as the impurities come out. I read reviews that said how soft it makes your skin and how quickly skincare products get absorbed after using it. I was skeptical … but it’s true!! Even after my first use my skincare products immediately absorbed!! And my skin really is so, so soft after using it.
But I’m more excited to see where my skin is in 2~4 weeks.
I bought it mainly because reviews were saying it helped reduce visible pores. These past few months my pores are really starting to show. It’s my mother’s genetics kicking in.
Her pores are huge and, as I age
, mine are not looking so great.
I had been trying different skincare and makeup products to help with pores but I’m not 100% satisfied with any of the creams and primers I’ve tried. So I’m curious to see if the Clarisonic will help! Lately I really feel like investing in my skincare, long-term.

Wine & Owls

I’ve really been smitten with the trend color of bordeaux or wine lately.
But instead of blowing a lot of cash on wine-colored clothing I’ve decided to enjoy it through cheaper means.
Wine colored tights and polish. Actually I only deliberately bought the tights for the “wine trend” but the polish was mere coincidence.
I filed my nails down recently to put a stop to some damage. I wore a clear coating of nail strengthener for about 2 weeks straight. But after that I really hated all my polish colors & nothing felt “right.”
So Friday I went to CVS just to browse shades to see if I would fall for anything new and I picked up “Wined Up” from Insta-Dri. I slapped it on immediately. Gonna remove it tonight & do a more lasting job for the week. I’ll probably be wearing it for a while. Like how I wore jade for nearly 3 months straight.
The owl ring and earrings in the photos are from Bloomzy! They’re perfect!! Great match to autumn.

Dress, Tights - Target
Jean Shirt - Mango
Jacket - Express
Black Flats - Payless

I was going to do a “photo challenge” to help me get familiar with the new camera.
Something like 365 is too intense BUT I saw an A-Z Photo Challenge that seemed fun! I’ll start at A and snap an object beginning with that letter until Z, obviously.
It’ll be wonderfully random!
