Hi there, I think you may be trying the wrong stuff to get rid of your acne. When it comes to mild acne like Vulgaris, it can usually be treated with regular skin care and proper nutrition. I’m sure the tips will compliment the acne product you are using and you will get great results. If your dealing with Conglobata or Rosacea then you definately might want to see a dermatologist before the scars become permanent.
I have been working on a post about Skin Care Advice and just finished it minutes ago. I am a little tired now so I think I’ll go to bed and do a final check (spelling and make sure it’s all in place) tomorrow morning before I post it but it includes a lot of useful advice and tips for treating acne the natural way and gives a good explanation as to what your dealing with.

Oh my that’s not good! I hope the new medicine will help you out, but if your face is itchy and dry *ugh* It’s irritating you don’t know what’s causing it. Could it be something hormonal – like if you’re also using birth-controll pill and such? Anyway goodluck~ Acne sucks big time *bwaahhh* :P

Acne… I have like skin issues too, my mom says I’m too young to have these sort of issues. Like, I’m not supposed to need facials till I’m like 17 or something xD Hope the medication thing you’re on works this time ^_^

I used to have acne.. I was on accutane and everything :( It magically cleared up last summer and I had great skin – I don’t know if it was birth control medication (probably), the climate (dry Colorado for the summer) , drinking tons of water at work all day, or just age, but something happened. Now, if I use my old facewashes for oily skin, they ironically make me break out :(

I use differin and benzaclin and all I can say is you have to be sure to properly moisturize and exfoliate those flakes away ;)

Omg, my Mom is on the same medication and she’s 36 ‘years old!! You’d think the problem would go away after teenaged years? My Mom goes “I didn’t have it as a teenager so now I have to have acne as an adult. Life has its ways.” You’re welcome for the CD ^^; Enjoy!

Ah, the days of trial acne medication. I gave up on it after many failed attempts in my adolesence. It has generally cleared up as I have gotten older..but I still am prone to a breakout so often. Think I may try something for that since it is mild, and I am just sick of zits. My sister in law is trying proactiv so I will see how that goes over with her first.

I’d be gruumpy old ho if someone woke me up when I was sleeping, too.

Heeeeeey! Thanks for the comment on my site! (: I totally understand how you feel about acne. I had this huge pimple on my nose and I … popped it. And now it’s only gone and dried up. It’s so big and obvious. I mean, it’s on my NOSE! Everyone can see it. Gaaack it sucks being a teenager with imbalanced hormones.

i think the itchness and the dryness cos the old skin is peeling, so you’ll have fresh clean skin..i hate acne too…tried every single product out there…nothing seems to work…spent $$$ on it too…well, im using proactiv these days…still waiting for results..

Aghh, that sucks. It’s already late and you were already asleep and he goes and wakes you up, I’d be pissed, too. =___=; I hope you were able to fall back asleep.

That sucks that the first medication didn’t work. All that time and money wasted on something that didn’t do the job. I hope this new stuff really works and you’re rid of acne for good, hehe, wishful thinking.

I know how you feel. :( I had bad acne as a young teen, but then it evened out after I was on Accutane. It comes back on and off, particularly NOW thanks to the end of the semester. It was at it’s worst last year though, when I was working in the deli @ Wal-Mart. I hope the new meds work for you! I need to get my mom to renew my prescriptions, ughh..! x_x

ah skin problems r the worst :x i go to a traditional chinese doctor for skin problems, it’s related to other stuff like bad posture, at least for me, im so glad he finaly fixed the problem, it was a GREAT prob :x :x anyways, hope the new medication will work =D
