Same. I don’t understand why they can’t sell both denim types. I miss the super softness of the old denim but the new denim does look better on me. Their boyfriend cut uses a soft denim but I ended up returning mine because it was just too unflattering for my shape.

I’ll admit: I am not super happy about their new denim…. however that did not stop me from buying a pair of the skinny crops during their ridiculously awesome winter sale.

Yeah I haven’t had any in about a year. I love my black denim but I’ve found that at some point in spring I suddenly turn on them AND JUST CAN’T WEAR THEM ANYMORE until it cools off again.

Definitely cut off at my ankles. I will say that the hem is more straight legged style and not toothpick skinny jean style because it’s left a bit wide for calves but it looks tooooooootally lovely and fine just want to curtail any expectations you might have :)

I’m such a roller these days. I was getting my denim hemmed a few years ago but recently quit and either roll it or have bought madewell’s zip up denim and just unzip it a bit so it’s not bunching haha

So good to find a review about these! I’ve had these pair of jeans in mist wash in my online shopping cart for the past week, but due to my 5′2″ height, I was a little apprehensive about where it cut off at the leg.

Ahh at 5′2″ these would be perfect. I have to shorten all my pants and skirts all the time, and it’s always nice to wear supposely cropped pants, mini skirts and regular size. haha.

I wish Madewell shipped to Australia. When I went to New York I bought a jacket and flannel shirt there.
