One of the reasons I stopped going to Sephora so much is that many of the salespeople at mine are very pushy and when I tell them "Oh no, that broke me out" they are in disbelief because it's "so highly rated, how could it, did you use it right!?" And I think a lot of people forget that this applies to all makeup. Like some people can't use Chanel lipstick because it's too drying for their lips while others find it moisturizes. Totally agree. I don't think that brand is available any more where I live because all our Targets got shut down. I totally agree with what you said about liking certain products. I have a few products I stick to and not because they are "raved about" but because I genuinely like them. Not all products work for everyone and not everyone's taste is the same.
