I’m back from the mountains with a nice rock!

Yes, we had a very wonderful MOUNTAIN vacation. While on the balcony of our cabin watching the sunset Mike suddenly got on 1 knee and proposed out of nowhere. I was in shock. I saw him and started saying, “No… no!!! Oh My God!!!” and cried. I was really surprised at my reaction. I mean, you always think you’ll know how you’ll react, but then I cried and I was so happy and SO, SO surprised. I had no idea he was going to propose on this trip.
I adore the ring!!! ADORE. Mike had is designed and made just for me. I knew he knew what was me. He got it perfect. It’s beautiful. Clear diamond with a round brilliant cut. Set in platinum with two pink sapphires in pear cuts. Mike, of course, told me all this after the reality set in 
. We’ll be getting married within the year

So, here’s a 500px wide photo of the first image of me & the ring. Also, I made a REALLY crappy photo from a vacation picture of the ring. I didn’t like it though, so whatever. View if you like. OKAY, the most vain thing I’ve ever done and yes, you can puke… here’s a REALLY bad quality video of the ring. Hahahahahaha 
:worry2: I’m such a TOOL I know. HAHAHAHAHA~ Anyway. Enough of me being a girly~girl 
over my lovely ring. 
But, it did give me a chance to use You Tube’s upload feature. That was mighty fun. I did it to upload it to my friends’ myspaces. They’re gonna just roll their eyes and say, “yea…, big surprise… big deal” sigh~ 
I ran out today & bought these since I had a great coupon for the bookstore!
PS: Yes, that Hiatus layout has really become my favorite & it was time #3 I’ve used it!! It’s my default Summer hiatus layout now & forever

I know you don’t know me and it’s probably very strange that I’m commenting, but I always check on your site time to time because you always have such cute layouts and I like to look at the scans you post.

Congratulation on getting engaged. I’m glad that you have a man who truly loves you and surprised you with the perfect ring. Perhaps it was the nice cute clothes that you bought for the trip that did the trick? ^_~ I’m sure he couldn’t resist. Hehe.

OH MY GOD!! Congradualtions! I’m so happy for you - actually the both of you! Have you started on teh wedding details yet, like your dress, where it’ll be held.. stuff like that :] haha. AHHHH THIS IS THE BIGGEST NEWS!!! the page just loads and all i see is “ENGAGED” !! omgggg!!!! omgomgomg!!! we all knew this was going to come one day but when it really did come it’s still a really big shocker! i’m so happy for you!!!! Mike is like the “surprise-specialist”, always giving you sweet surprises but this is obviously the BIGGEST one~~~ and OMG the RING!! THE RING!! it’s so gorgeous~ ahh i feel so emotional right now… it’s like reading your blog all these times and seeing the cute stationaries and all the crazy japanese snacks you buy and THE HAPPIEST MOMENT of your life is just coming up this year! gosh…i can’t even begin to IMAGINE the WEDDING! awww you already got the wedding magazines hahahaaa!! ok, now..planing stage!!

That is a beautiful photo of the mountains… I wish I would have stuck around and took a photo of either the sunrise or the sunset while I was camping on the mountains myself. And congratulations, chica! That is so romantic, and the ring is gorgeous. I love pink, and diamonds are a girl’s best friend =D Lol nice video too, it’s really sparkly!
