Snowed In (65) 
It’s another snowy weekend 
Stayed in all day but it does prove a good excuse for a super extended hot bath! Used a Bihada Ichizoku face mask too for my dry winter skin! It’s from the Tsubasa limited edition line. Yes… I still have some left. I try really hard not to horde things but I find it particularly difficult to part with these lovely, lovely masks! :<3: The packaging with Tsubasa is just so... ADORABLE!
Kinda getting disappointed with all the snow this winter. 
Every weekend it seems! Hard to accept staying in so often 
I think the winter blues are starting to get to us. I was wanting to get out and really do something fun this weekend to cheer Mike up! 
Winter is getting him down. 
Might be able to get out tomorrow. 
Hopefully the roads will be clear and de-iced. 
It just blows because we don’t get out much during the week. After I get home from work it’s already dark and freezing so we only go out when we HAVE TO! Like this week, we went grocery shopping and out for dinner once. That’s it! It’s too cold to go anywhere at night LOOOL. OMG I’m sorry. I’m ranting about winter like it’s my own personal nemesis! 
I’m not alone in it of course~

Breaking Up with Ageha (35)
Oh remember Nanako’s Hair Ribbons??!! Noticed this today in February’s Ageha

I’d say “I can’t believe I missed this!” but Ageha’s thick, stiff spine has always made it a bit difficult to read in my opinion. Let alone freakin’ scan in! Which brings me to this… 
This entry has been a long time coming. For a couple of months now I’ve known I wasn’t going to renew my Ageha subscription. Ageha has gotten extremely repetitive for me. It also feels they’re moving away from having an “Agejo” focus and going back to fully targeting their original audience, hostesses. That’s fine and makes sense of course. That was their main audience when I first got my subscription which I enjoyed to be honest. Then Agejo became this trend~ It feels like Agejo has been moving out of the limelight as people’s fascination with it starts to dims though.
It’s also coming from a personal preference. When I got my first issue back in 2007 I was obsessed with thick, long curls and heavy eye make! 
But since this past spring my tastes have waned. I’m getting back into a more casual style and lighter eyemake. Besides, I never fully loved intense black bottom liner on me. Maybe it’s my big nose, I dunno, I just never felt 100% happy with it on me. But I still like it on most models 
But unlike some magazines (Popteen,) Ageha rarely has any alternatives to the pitch black full bottom liner.

Donki’s Tokyo Cover Girl (61)
I had heard Donki (ドン･キホーテ - Don Quijote) was putting out a line of extremely cheap clothing (fast fashion) but I didn’t realize they were selling full sets of outfits using a Tokyo Cover Girl theme! SO CUUUUTE! I love this idea!! Donki was one of the few places on my much too short trip last year that I visited multiple times. I think I visited 3 times?! The store basically has any sorta random ~ bizarre item you want. Kigurumi, hostess garb, circle lenses, fireworks, Japanese tees, sweat baths, cellulite rollers, so on & so on randomness.
OK, enough reminiscing and pining… the clothes!! 
Admittedly they’re quite basic, but for around $40 USD you can’t expect something extravagant for a 3-piece set! 
Most of the looks don’t really match my current tastes but the above three were my favorites! 
I’d love a cheap set that includes the mock-shirt skirt!! I keep wanting to buy one but I’m still so paranoid about sizing and fit that I’ve held off. You can view them all here. 
I also think I heard they were/have come out with a line of $7 jeans?! LOL! Fast-food-like fashion indeed

The boring stuff~ LOL
I didn’t think I’d get to blog today, though now it’s so late I don’t really have the time to post what I wanted to right now. Yesterday I wrote up this long private entry about how hard things have been for me this week. It was incredibly whiny and self-indulgent. Then last night something happened and I realized how selfish I have been. Selfish in that the only happiness that mattered was my own. So, I think I can make it to the weekend, and look on the brighter side of things and try to help others in their happiness first. 
Plus today my heater got fixed! yay~ no more loud noise! They still have to come back and replace the motor though. But it’ll keep the house heated until then so it’s OK.
Also, if you haven’t noticed, my New Year’s Resolution is going great! I haven’t bought any clothes and it’s been 4 weekends now! 
The weekends are when we go to the stores, but I’ve only been window shopping! And even with my online purchases (overalls, contacts, the stuff I really want) I’m spending less than when I’d just buy some random thing that “reminded” me of some Japanese brand item! It’s true, and I have my higher-than-ever bank account to prove it! Ha! 
Now I’m just holding off for spring items~ figure out what I want and then place an order~ Might be a while before I find my “must have” items 
Speaking of sales I saw Zara was having one last weekend so I cruised in… ya know, just TO SEE! I hate their sales! 
Seriously! Like 1/2 the merchandise on sale is damaged! WTF. Rips and stains and still $19!? no thanks Zara.
Oh yea, and I decided to slap my photo up in my sidebar! I used to have 1 there years ago, but then felt shame at showing how old I was! Hahahaha! Now there are soooo many bloggers in their 20’s, it’s no longer a shameful thing! Remember when we’d ask ourselves “What will I do when I turn 25?! I can’t continue to do such a childish thing like blog!” Plus ameblo & blogger all seem to have it, I feel I’m being all weird-secretive not having mine, I dunno~ Maybe I’ll take it down… errrrrrr. LOL Maybe this will better clear up any misunderstandings that I’m a Japanese person 
… Even though I have photos in my profile, I’ve still gotten random comments “Oh I thought you were Japanese.” gaaaaah 
I never know how to respond to that b/c I don’t lead on that I would be~ 
OK, it’s late and I’m RAMBLING!
