Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

The donut has made my stomach twist & turn all day, hahahaa! I can’t process sugars like the good ole’ days! The latte was skinny so thank goodness for that! So I wore green today and got to pinch Mike REALLY HARD for NOT wearing green this morning!

Thanks to Daylight Savings there’s that extra hour of sunlight already so yesterday I went out after dinner! Made a stop at Sephora to check out their braided headbands. They had more colors than H&M’s. Only about $5 more too.

The light brown matched pretty well! There’s only a slight difference in bright light because of my blond highlights but all in all it matches great! Especially for wearing to work. Lord knows everything looks dull under THOSE fluorescent lights! I wore it all day today and loved it! I have really thin, fine hair. Bobby pins slip out of my hair! But this headband stayed in place all day without needing readjusting!

I wish they made a dark blonde. They’re selling really well because there were only 3 blondes and 1 light brown left and nothing else. I’m thinking maybe they’ll do more colors if they sell well??? *hopes* Though this one’s fine; dunno if I’d go out and buy a dark blonde one if they came out with it. LOL. Though Sara Mari pointed out there’s no red one! WTF. And seriously how many blondes are THAT blonde, haahaa!

I want to get that WC catalog scanned in *promise I will soon!*

I’ve been really tired lately. Hopefully the weather will stay nice until the weekend so I can get out and get some real fresh air!

Waved!! Time to pull out my S-Waver again!!!!!!! Hahaahhhhahaaa! I know, it oozes everything that was wrong about the 80’s & early 90’s but I’m ready! I’m ready to take this look back for the ’10’s! LET’S DO IT! FIGHTING! Hahahhaa! The waves keep popping up here & there~ It amuses me, what can I say

Spring Shopping (50)

Since I don’t plan on ordering anything from 109 or WC (for however long that lasts, lol) I started buying a few spring items!! They’re finally in store and I’m just too excited to contain myself! I got a few things this past week + weekend.

The Tops

I loved this the moment I saw it!

I didn’t buy it right away.

I tried not to buy it at all, but when I tried it on I just had to have it.

I want to match it with my new khaki shorts. I’m going to take this to Japan since we’ll be going in the burning summer!!

I’ve tried on a lot of them to be honest, but I liked this one and when I saw it was only $9 I went ahead and bought it, LOL.

I’ve missed my gold paint wall!
In the winter no sunlight comes in so I forget how pretty the paint is. Thankfully the sun’s been out for days! And it’s still in the low 60’s! Maybe all the snow will melt this week

Onto the shoes. OK, I bought a number of shoes… Three to be exact. A pair of short cowboy boots, some new black heels, and some flip flops.

It was when I got the patchwork denim. I decided to snag them this weekend!!

I’m really happy I did! I took them to work today to break them in. They’re soft, but sturdy. And they don’t slip off my feet when I try to walk.

I like the height. Taller than kitten heels but not a stiletto so I could see myself wearing these for long shopping hours! Ho~ ho~ ho~ I have high hopes for these heels.

I want them to replace my pink heels as my “comfy heel.”

The pretty pattern insole is my own, not H&M’s. I put insoles in most all my shoes

I really, reaaaaaaally wanted something like this LAST SUMMER after seeing a pretty pair from Alba Rosa. Well no luck last year.

So I thought I’d pick these up when I saw them. My favorite pair of black flip flops are wearing thin, so maybe these will be comfy and matchable enough to take their place.

There’s a trend here really. I’m having to replace some of my old clothes. Either for fit or just wear ‘n tear. Speaking of I got my Free People dress back today!! It fits great! Though a tad more fitted in the shoulders than I’m used to. It’s OK, I’m just used to loose clothing, LOL. The fitted shoulders really give it nice straight lines. Plus now the skirt is fuller on the bottom because she only took in the sides! YES! I love it.

I took a few snaps but on my blackberry, real tiny too because they’re really meant to mail to my friend. No worries, I’ll be wearing this outfit sometimes soon again!
