I’m kind of bummed out. I ordered 25$ worth of stuff from ArtBox America .com for myself & little Christmas presents for others. I ordered it in early November. The shipping says it takes about 8 business days to arrive. Well, it’s been over 3 weeks now and I’ve yet to get the package! I emailed them Friday but no response yet. I’ll call their stupid long distance *grumbles* number Monday.

It sucks because I’ve had to go out and RE-BUY people NEW little gifts. I’m worried I got hosed. If I don’t get a response when I call I’m contacting the Better Business Bureau about them. Such a bummer.

Mike is graduating in 2 weeks. However, the only family member coming his is mom now because the others just can’t make it here. This is obviously a slight let-down for him, but guess what.., my parents REALLY want to come if at all possible. My Dad & sister will be able to & my mom is trying to get off work for it. My grandparents will more than likely want to come too. Well, this is the FIRST time anyone from Mike’s family will meet mine. It’s a big deal really! I mean… c’mon, it’s no secret will plan to marry after college and it’s just going to be so weird.

I’m nervous just thinking about it :oops:. It’ll go a-ok I’m sure, it’s just weird. I mean their kids have been dating for four years and they have never met. Anyway~ His mom had some difficulty getting a hotel room for her first day of staying so she’ll stay with us for that first night. Goodness. GOTTA REALLY GET CLEAN-CLEAN (she’s a retired military *navy* commander x_x). Plus my parents will hopefully get to visit my apartment! They saw my first one & it was SO embarrassing cuz it was trashed when I had the second guy roommate and just…. ugh, embarrassing. But now everything is clean and nice here so yea. *_*.

Now, xmas decor! I wish I could afford to REALLY decorate and buy furniture I TRULY want and not hand-me-downs from parents and whatnot. Sigh~ when I move next I’ll buy nice stuff. Besides, I’m still in college after all, no biggie that I got mix-matched junk :P.
