Some Wedding chit-chat

We went over our budget today :good: and also got my lovely
engagement ring insured. It feels great to do that. Now when it dings something :hii1: I don’t have to be so scared! More people are approaching me at work too congratulating me. Everyone seems so intrigued that it was 1: A surprise/shock to me when he proposed, and 2: that he picked out the ring without any of my input. Very funny. Anyway. I haven’t told many people at work because I tend to keep my private life and work life separate.
I scanned in a few things. First, I saved some clippings from when I was in freakin’ High School that I scanned in!! ^^Pardon the bad quality & tears…

This was the perfect dress to me when I saw it. I still like it. I love the flower and colored details.
Number 2
Something about this image just made me keep it. The make-up is so fresh and innocent. I still love this image.

I put “fantasy dresses” on the post-it that marked these dresses :haha:. I do like the details though in these dresses, though I doubt I’d do something so… fantasy.

I’m not the biggest fan of strapless, but holy cow they are very popular. So, if I do think I look OK in strapless (I doubt it though) I would like one with top ruffle of lace detail on the bodice. This was a great example of that!

The ruching on the back of this dress… :ufu: so beautiful~
In the non-dress category I give you… Save The Date cards that caught my eye.

I love the simplicity of these cards. It’s so business, but, quirky too for save the date. I just really liked them. Very useful & appeals to my eye.

I love the strapless dresses! But I don’t think I look ok in it either!
Oh, and belated best wishes for your engagement! ♥
Haha you saved those pics from when you were in High School?
Hmm, I really like the 2nd dress, the ruching definitely is very very pretty! Again goodluck with all the weddingplanner stuff!
oh my~ those dresses are really pretty! lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about marriage. lol.
I’m just so happy for you two!oh yes, so true. strapless are really popular. but then, it doesn’t mean you have to get a strapless as well. I’d get myself something which is pretty and wonderful in my opinion.
I can understand what you mean about strapless dresses. I feel like a total foob when something has no straps. But they are quite charming dresses.
Those save the date cards would catch my eye as well. They aren’t too littered with too many colours or decorations.
Wow, the dresses are all so pretty!! I really love the two in the pics that you put in the actual post.
The save the date cards are really nice, too. I’ve never seen any like that before. =D
wedding planning! what an exciting time
I like the one embroidered with flowers. nontraditional, like your ring - still white, but also, with a splash of color. I like the headbank/updo in #2. I’ve never seen a bridal gown with a headband, but it’s very sweet.
Also love the lace pattern on the strapless, and the ruched dress. gorgeous.
I’m glad you got proposed too…I’m still in shock…lol…oh thanks for the congrats on getting my school id. I’m official now..yay!! Anyways, I’m sorry we can’t chat on aim…I sometime have problems too about blogging when I don’t want too. Well; I gotta go so ciao.
Wow, those dresses are so gorgeous!! Whenever I think of getting married I get so nervous .__. Good thing it’s not for a while yet~ I’m so happy for you. Have lots of fun planning this!
I love your perfect dress, it looks perfect.
HAHA, well but the dress with the ruching looks also lovely. And just because strapless is very popular, it doesn’t mean you have to wear strapless…
Just take a dress you love and like and you feel comfortable with and you will look gorgeous for sure.
