I bought a new book today. It’s for plan C for the wedding…

After a lot of discussion. Mike and I have thought about doing a small courthouse ceremony (or maybe marry in Japan) and then a big lovely lawn party at my parents’ in Mississippi. They have a 2 very large yards so we could rent tents, tables, chairs. Well, you get it. Like any garden party, only we wouldn’t have to pay a bloated venue fee!!! Plus more people could come. We would save money for our house AND the honeymoon (to Japan.) It’s an option anyway. We discussed getting married in MS but I just found out they still require blood tests so fuck no. I am beyond terrified of needles and MD doesn’t require the test anymore.
If that is what we’ll do, then I’m looking into dresses like this>>

Last week I also bought this CD. It’s piano Jazz (*dies*
) I love jazz, especially piano. When I saw it in the store Mike stopped and I said, “JAZZ FOR KITTIES!?!?” And of course I bought it.

^____^” Yes, if things get too hectic there’s always plan C. Oh, and a honeymoon in Japan! That sounds AWESOME! =3
We’re so alike Jen, I swear!
You guys will have to tell us all the cool places to go in Japan. LOL jazz for kitties!!
How adorable. Haku would love that, I’m sure. Well.. I hope we get to talk soon! If not, have a good week!
Wow, good to have back up plans and hopefully things will starting running smoothly with the planning o__o! WEE! Cats love jazz, I know, they tell me o__o! HAhahaa
Yah, that’s always an option especially if the parents get too involved. Imagine their reaction when they find out, that’s if you did, hahahaaha~
If you do though just make sure it’s what you really want to do. So you don’t regret it down the road. ^0^
That dress is adorable!! I love it!
Awe, that cd is so you, hahaha~
HEHEHE, elope
i think you guys should get married in the states then maybe go to japan? i dunno on the honey moon like you said
that’d be cool, try kimonos xD i heard they’re expensive..but maybe you can rent them
LOL at your fear of needles. Me too. =P ‘what if they stab your veins accidentally’ o_o
Yeah, plan C is a good thing. You should always have plan C
Good luck with planning your wedding!
that’s such an adorable wedding dress!! SOO CUTE!! I like the garden party idea…so nice. Ohh…have you thought of hairstyles yet??? ^____^ haha i love the third defenition~
yeah~ go go go for plan C!!! Japan for honeymoon sounds wonderful!
Sorry, I don’t get the part with the blood tests… Why is it required in MS? gosh… I feel so stupid…
The dress is wonderful!! I love it! The same to the cute CD. I wonder if Ari likes Jazz too…
That dress is cute
Plus, you would actually be able to wear it more than once, unlike the others.
This cost and hassle of large, traditional weddings amazes me. Having a nice wedding with family can be great, but sometimes the tradeoffs are nicer - a honeymoon in Japan sounds fabulous. And having a party at home would be nice, because your family wouldn’t have to travel to see you.
I’m also saving money for a house. It’s slow going so far, arrgh. It must be even more frustrating in the DC Metro area! I have a friend that lives in Arlington, and the 2-bedroom 1-bathroom house he bought seven years ago (for $450? $550?) is now worth almost $1 million. At least the real estate market is finally starting to slow down.
OMG Jen! Congradulations
I know this is embarrassing late ^^; I love the style of the wedding dress that you picked out!
o00o that book looks like FUN!
A small courthouse ceremony sounds great!
… Maybe marrying in Japan?! WOW!!!! Yes, not having to pay a huge venue fee is nice lol…
I love the wedding dress type girl!
Very elegant and sexy!
awwww piano jazz is soooo soothing!
I like the idea of having it in your parents’ yard. I think it’d be great if there was some mingling time because normally with seating charts, people sit by people they already know. With mingling, it’s a bit more fun beforehand with some apetizers and cocktails or something.
