Took a day trip today to the Shenandoah Valley to catch the beginnings of autumn!

Also went to a cavern~~ I haven’t been to one since I was a little girl so it was great to poke at rocks again. It was a nice hour long tour too, pretty big!

Oh, Jen. Those are beautiful. See, this is why I hate Cali and people wonder why! In Cali or at least where I live, very few of the trees if any turn those beautiful, warm colors before dropping. I like that! It’s pretty and it adds a lot of color to the scenery other than green.

Ooo, love the colors of the leaves. ^__________^ Those are awesome photos. Did you take any with your Fisheye??

I went to Carlsbad Caverns a few times back in the day for family vacas. They’re really cool. We’ll take Kaylie there in a few years, too.

Those caverns look pretty cool. I sometimes feel bad about missing out so much on nature. But I do appreciate sunsets, sunrises, and rainy afternoons….that’s a start.

If it wasn’t for all the colours that fall provided, I don’t think I would be a huge fan of it. Too much rain! Especially here on Vancouver Island. >_
