First off I’m STUFFED

Chicken & Croquette Curry!

New House on tonight with the grim reaper kitty story!!!
Last week I made some comment about how House could only get better if they had a kitty…. I had no idea~ ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE!!!
So today I tried out a new hairspray. TRESemme’s 24 hour body finishing spray. First off 24 hours??? I’m not sure what crazy celebrity lifestyle TRESemme thinks I have or should be having but I figured if I could get even half of that I’d be good to go! My #1 problem is volume. My hair is thin & flat and I’m a sucker for new products.

Verdict??!!
Works pretty damn great actually! And today was nonstop drizzle and even with waiting out in the rain my curls had great bounce! The curls fell slightly about 6 hours into it but still I had defined curls. Actually even after getting stuck in the rain AGAIN on my way home I had some curls left!
Cons??
The scent makes me want to vomit. It smells like any drugstore brand hairspray but it’s as if they tried to mask it with truck-stop-bathroom floral potpourri scent!
I’m really sensitive to scents so the fact the smell didn’t ease up throughout the day sucked.
Too bad this stuff doesn’t smell good like Herbal Essences Volume Spray (which smelled great but fell flat after about 2 hours of wear.) I mostly prefer to use Jonathan’s Flexible Hairspray but since I have to get that from Sephora I tend to be bad about replacing it in a timely manner. And just FYI my all time favorite hairspray was Victoria’s Secret Love Spell Hairspray that was discontinued over a year ago
It smelled AMAZINGGGGGGG and gave my hair volume and shape all day long! OH WHY!? WHY DID THEY DISCONTINUE IT
And yes I do still use Lucido-L Hair Pre-Curl too if anyone’s curious~
Hachi posted this awesome little community (app?) today! It’s like Shelfari (which Mike made me join but I never read so it’s pointless) but it actually let’s you put magazines on your shelf! :good: I’ve already started adding my my back dated issues~~! Only goes back to 2007 & some 2006 but looks better than my boring list!
I’m

Oh yea and as I said before Rinka posted her new book in her blog! These 2 photos are from this entry.

haha silly me tried to sign up to that site, i got so far as actually having an account, but my japanese is full of FAIL so i couldn’t figure out what to do to put some magazines on my shelf -_-;;
the food looks so yummy! i’ve never had japanese curry, i wonder how it is in comparison to indian curry (YUMYUM). i have never seen the GAL pixel before 0.0;;
i have the same problem with my hair, it can never hold any style. but i never really like hairspray because the ones i’ve used always make my hair all crunchy D:
Japanese curry is MUCH more mild than indian (even their “hot” is the mildest of curries) ~ it’s sweeter & richer in flavor. I like both of course
korean style curry too *yum yum*
I am really sensitive to smell too, so anything that has a funk is like ew get it away, lol. I don’t really use hairspray that much because my hair is naturally curly, but I when I do I always think it smells bad and get self conscious! So it is good to know there are some out there that smell better like herbal essences.
I like when you post on a regular basis, it makes me happy!
Caitlin
Looks yummy.
And as for the mini post, Rinka’s new book looks adorable. I love the smile
I am not a big hairspray user, but I always complain about having flat hair, haha.
And for VS hairspray, you should just come back during their semi-annual sale when they bring out all their discontinued products… or you can go to outlets! My favorite lotion is discontinued, but most outlet stores have it!
Good idea!! I usually hit them up for it anyway but never thought to keep my eye out for the hairspray.
Jen! was the croquette yummy? :9
you know those stupid builders who have been really noisy next door (they worked THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND AND ARE STILL BANGING AWAY RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT!). Well today, I heard some odd noise in the house so I looked out the window and I SAW THEM STEAL OUR WATER TOO! WTF! DIDN’T EVEN ASK US! WTFFF :E
RAAAAWR WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!!!!!! CAVE LIFESTYLE PREASE!!!
OMGOMGOMG.
梨花の本?!
so excited!!
(those croquettes look so good!!)
Oh, I love this entry! I actually got a curling iron awhile back in October but I haven’t been using it much, though I’m planning to put more use with it in the spring/summer. Haha, I’m just get lazy to do my hair in the morning during the winter because of the cold!
My hair is really thin and FLAT too! (no volume at all) Whenever I curl my hair, it looks like I haven’t curled it at all. -_____-” And I don’t know what’s a good hairspray to use maintain it’s shape make my curls more bouncy and soft. I’m using this L’Oreal one and it actually makes my curls rather HARD and dry looking, so I’m actually in search of finding one that would add shine to my curls and actually make them soft and bouncy and STAY in shape as well. My curls always end up getting out of shape when I curl them even with hairspray on. D:
I would recommend trying the Jonathan hairspray if you love shine but not crunch! They have a smaller travel can for around $8.00 that can last up to about 2 months of daily use.
Oh man, I’ve been looking for a good, sturdy, aroma-y volume holder spray thing for forever!! ;o;
And my goodness that food looks yummy
*-*~
omygosh..that curry&those croquettes look so good :d
That dish looks so good! You really do know how to cook
Booklog is awesome. I’d use it except I don’t read much either, and I don’t have many mags ^^’ Sometimes I wonder why good products are discontinued as well. Maybe too costly to make?
I’m not good with hairspray. I try that Lux stuff, it works a bit. I totally thought you were talking about the movie. I’ve yet to see house, but I hear it’s really good.
YOUR CURRY MAKES ME DROOL!!
~~~~~~~~~~
Uuu Rinka’s new book looks so cute~ I might join that Booklog for fun :p
AHHHHHHH! Do you guys get VO5?! I definitely would recommend one but I can’t remember the name of it! I’ll get back to you on that because it’s super good. At one point my curls were still there when I went to sleep and woke up~ And it smells like apples or some really nice fruity flavour. Another brand I would recommend is TIGI, it’s so expensive over here but maybe not so over there? The last time I went to get my haircut they styled my hair with some wax and it seriously smelt so good! My friends could smell it all the way across the room, so maybe look into that? Haha turned into an essay but homg me & products are like BFFs hahaha!
Ah yes V05!! I’ve used it in the past with so~so results (big red can) didn’t smell like apples though so I think what I used was from a different line. And TIGI?? I’ve seen them loads but never tried em! Another to keep in mind
. They’re only moderately expensive here.
Croquettes are my childhood fantasy food
I need to update my hair products, nothings ‘WOW’ any more. Apparently VO5 Hairspray is good, I don’t know about scent but it’s recommended by Cure magazine and if it’s what holds the J-rockers spikes for an entire sweaty concert then it must be amazing!!
I really want to try Sara Sara Hair Milk…
I’ve always heard good things about L’Oréal Elnett, it gives lots of body too I think?
I’m not much of a hairspray user as I have crazy frizzy hair unless I flat-iron it. On rare occasion I do, I use Ojon Tunu Elastik flexible finishing spray. I’m not a fan of the smell, but it helps the frizz and makes my hair so soft!
I’ve never heard or seen L’Oréal Elnett but apparently Target carries it? I’ll check it out! See how it smells ‘n all
Oh man, the food looks DELISH!
I never do my hair. The most I’ll do is, after it air- dries, flat iron it. My hair is too lifeless and flat and never, ever retains any style for more than about 30 minutes so I don’t bother.
I do, however, use all kinds of anti- frizz creams. My faves are the Weather Works one, Jonathan Product’s, and the anti- snap from… some where… REDKIN! haha, I’m so bad at remembering names sometimes -_-
oh gosh i want a crispy croquette so badly now! :O
that curry & those croquettes looks so good *-*
it sucks sometimes that things are never that perfect and perfect things don’t really last ):
That looks super yummy…*drools*
I can’t wait for Rinka’s new photobook
Wow, your dinner looks YUMMY~!!
I have the same exact problem with my hair too!! It’s extremely thin & flat… I don’t really like using products in it though because I don’t like that ‘hard’ feeling some sprays/mousse gives your hair. I was tempted to try that hairspray though (since my curls always wilt by mid-day, mou ;o
but yucky smell for the FAIL~ I can’t belive VS had a Love Spell hairspray though!! DAMN THEM FOR DISCONTINUING~!!
& oohh, cheap Rinka book! *must GETS!*
oh man your chicken and croquette curry looks good! i actually had some a couple days ago! mmm!!!! have you had that croquette with the creamy stuff on the inside? that’s super yummy too!
yaaaa, its so hard to find hairsprays that work! i should try yours….right now i use bigsexyhair and that stuff works pretty good! you can buy them at costco, 2 for $30 i think!
I’ve always wondered how well that brand work! I love it’s name
The curry looks DELICIOUS!
For me, I tend to avoid hairsprays because all it does is make my hair stiff, dry and smelly (not to mention the fact that my hair falls flat if I use ANY hair spray). I still don’t know why that is, maybe it’s because my hair has too much moisture?? I don’t know what I’m saying…
But, since I have thick hair I just scrunch some wax or mousse and I get waves! I don’t mean to brag..
Have you tried Big Sexy Hair? It’s the only hairspray I’ve bothered to use more than once. My hair stayed in place for 24 hours and more!
That’s weird.. I clicked ‘add comment’ and my comment didn’t show up!!?!? @_@
Anyway… I tend to not use hair sprays because it does nothing for my hair (my hair falls flat after a few minutes of it being in there -__-). I don’t know why this is, maybe because my hair has too much moisture?? I don’t know what I’m talking about now hahaha.
Have you tried Big Sexy Hair? It’s the only hairspray I’ve cared to use more than once! It kept my hair styled for 24 hours and more!
Mm the food looked nice
Hehe I find the nicer it is the more I eat.
I find all hairsprays smell quite bad. I feel blessed I don’t need to use it. My sister does and I just gag when I walk past her room
. My nose is quite sensitive to smells like that too.
