Snoopy meets Cher eco

This weekend was pretty nice. It was only cloudy and no rain! 
Sunday Mike and I went to a nice little pizzeria. The pizza was pretty good but the place itself was cute. It had an atrium eating area and since we got there for an early lunch it was pretty empty and we had it all to ourselves!
I’ve been working pretty hard. I get home and get so tired that I’m not on much. I’ve even missed 2 dress-up days on Poupee.
Even today I worked a bit late. Though it’s kind of nice staying later in the day. It gets quiet and I have less interruptions. But Mike picked me up from the train station since he was off work already and I arrived home to a gift from my friend in Japan!

On the right is a picture of my new headphones. I got them 50% off on the skullcandy site. Mike insisted since my old pair are still falling apart. They were cheap with the sale. So far they’re OK. They fit more snugly than my old pair but they block out WAY more noise which is a BIG plus. So I’m getting used to them.
I don’t know why but I seem to be using my Blackberry camera WAY more than my digital :F
It’s just so much more convenient! Even though the quality is so much lower
But I can then instantly email them to my friends which is a huge bonus. :noki4:

Oh, OH, OH! I lost 2lbs this weekend!! I was so surprised because I haven’t gone up or down in… months(?) and then Saturday, AFTER BREAKFAST, I weighed myself and WHOA 2LBS GONE! I don’t feel I’ve really been trying very hard either
But I have made a bigger effort to eat low calorie foods. I don’t drink much soda (maybe 1 can a week? Sometimes longer) but now to satisfy that craving I’ve found a few diet sodas that don’t have the icky fake sugar aftertaste as bad. It’s still there just not as obvious. I’m really sensitive to that nasty sugar free taste! It makes me gag if it’s really strong. Splenda doesn’t taste good to me either. BUUUUT Sugar Free Jello got me a little used to it (only 10kcal a cup!) and I’ve been FORCING myself to get used to the taste.
On a side note the consistency of JELL-O no longer makes me wanna barf. Funny how tastes change with age.

Nyaa! I love atrium cafes/restaurants, especially when they’re surrounded by lovely gardens! Reminds me of my old house! Yayayaa! Snoopy x Cher ふろく - that’s so adorable! But my heart still longs for the original Cher bag!
Cute outfits, as per usual! I wish I could wear heels out, but I’m so magnificently lazy and uncoordinated, it’s not really an option!
Diet foods D; I can’t stand them - I believe real is best! Especially when it comes to “No sugar” foods - they use a synthetic sugar supplement which is actually worse off for your health than real sugar! Fail party!

Yea, I don’t eat much diet foods for that reason, taste like crap and is so chemical! Why taste that gross after taste of a diet soda when tea is naturally calorie free!

I don’t blame you for wearing that outfit four times in a week, it’s adorable and I’d so do the same thing! Pleeease fill me in on these miraculous diet sodas that actually taste okay without sugar! I can’t stand Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke, it tastes horrible.

The orange soda ones aren’t as obvious, but to say they taste “good” is a stretch. But sometimes I just want carbonation :(

Lucky you for losing 2 lbs! I GAINED a pound and almost cried because I’ve been working so hard and running 3 miles like 6 days of the week and cutting back on food like crazy!! I researched and found out in my case, you get a slight muscle gain before you begin to lose weight.. but still. It was scary. Hahah just thought I’d share that

Congrats!!! Losing weight when you get older is just so hard to do, especially if you’ve got a busy-busy life.
If you’re looking for more diet sodas and drinks to try I know one that you SHOULDN’T ever touch! It’s called Mandarin Seltzer by Canada Dry and it’s so disgusting haha. Their diet Ginger Ale is gross too! It tastes like how unscented dish soap smells. Yuck.
THANK YOU!! I was ACTUALLY looking at those 2 Canada Dry sodas because I love Ginger Ale. But I decided I didn’t want to get any diet version of a soda I really liked because I’d just crave the real thing. So I got A&W diet and Sunkist Diet instead.
Haha, you’re welcome! I’ve never actually tried A&W diet or Sunkist diet either but judging from your post it looks like they’re good. I must try!

Haha, I totally make the most out of my picture-messaging plan. Cell phone cameras may be low quality, but super convenient and the pictures are more candid. It reminds me of the pictures on Rinka’s blog.

Congrats on the loss of poundage. I like the big round headphones more than the ones you stick in your ears. They always fall out, & the bass is awful. Plus they give me a headache. Hopefully one day camera phone technology will be on par with digital cameras.
