*I actually have a webpage I made & use to help myself study & keep track of my learning of Japanese. Despite how cute it is I’m not ready to show anyone. Maybe because I only know very very little right now

aww how cute! I have this really cute book that my sister bought me a couple of weeks ago. It teaches you how to write the letters…i could scan a couple of the pages for you! each page is illustrated ^___^

It’s already a great accomplishment for you to have taught yourself some Japanese! That shows that you had the determination, and etc. I WISH I COULD DO THAT! ^o^

I agree with Midori. Seems like everyone is learning Japanese…makes me want to learn…think Ill take it In Uni. LOL…O I saw some girl write her name is Japanese when I was working(she was paying with a creidt card) It was so kewl! I even told her that…she laughed and said thanks!

ahh how awesome! is teaching yourself a language difficult? i love languages & wish i could take classes, but in my school district they only allow you to take extra classes if you’re 17+. -_-; keep us updated on how you’re doing =]

Woah, nice you’re stuyding Japanese by yourself! It’s smart to learn hiragana first, after that katakana and then… the kanji. Here are the kanji for the words you listed :

i have been wrking on my hiragana and katakana for almost a year now. i have jimi’s books of japanese and they are wonderful! i don’t practice everyday anymore but i don’t want to forget. i need to go back to it
