I’m at work, but I felt like saying hello

Thanks for suggesting renting a truck and driving it everyone, but the thing is, that is what’s a $1,000. Yea, pretty crazy huh? We looked into all options and all of them were about $1,000. From driving the stuff ourselves to getting others to do it. We even looked into the PODS. Hahaha. It’s all the same price though since we’re moving 20 hours away. We’re just going to pack up the moving truck and get a company to drive it for us. That way we don’t have to worry about towing a car and such so we can just focus on driving both our cars up there.

I told a good friend about my moving last night. I don’t know. I don’t know what to say to people about everything. Nor do I want to really talk about it. That’s all Mike WANTS to talk about though.

Yesterday he brought boxes home from work for packing. He works in a seafood restaurant and though these boxes were used to ship napkins and such, I swear they still smell like a dock!! He says it smells like cardboard. I’m sorry, but they don’t! I thought I was getting onto a shrimp boat yesterday as I got into his car with those boxes. I’m throwing them away damnit. I don’t care. He’ll get mad but oh well. I’m not loading my stuff into fish smelling boxes!

10:11pm updated Seems to be some complications with our new apartment and whatnot =_=. Mike’s on the phone right now discussing it. SIGH, nothing ever goes smoothly in my life~~~~

   Whoa! $1,000 that’s pretty steep. Hopefully nothing gets damaged during the move. I HATE THAT Fishy-things have the most rotten smell to that, I don’t blame you for wanting to get rid of those boxes

   ha…fish boat, guys’ll never mind smells the way girls do~ your flour plan looks amazing! 100-sq feet is pretty big for 2 people! 1000bucks for moving is pretty expensive, but if there’s no other way then it has to be spent eh? i mean, there’s still that wonderful apartment to look forward to~~

   since when does cardboard smell like fish? good luck to you jen, and pack breakable things wrapped in some kind of outer layer! dont want anything to get smashed

    Good luck with the apartment and getting a job. I know exactly how you feel when you feel so passive. In a way, I think it’s good for you. There’s no use worrying or stressing over something you can’t really control yet, is there?
