日本語

So the college offering Japanese is giving me a hard time. I’ve applied for admission and now I have to take an assessment exam because the idiots are too stupid to read I already have a degree. If you have a degree you don’t have to do the exam… but I submitted that information to them already. idiots. I remembered another language school but I just missed the Summer 06 deadline by 5 days. I can’t seem to find any information on Fall classes yet. I’ll try to call tomorrow. It’s a longer drive/ride for the class, but about $100 cheaper and not all this bullshit hassle from a college admissions board. We’ll see where this goes…

Sigh~ life is never so simple… is it? *big smirk*

a little update following morning:
I’m going to go to the other Language school. The one that’s further away. Either way I’ll have to wait till Fall anyway. Plus its fees are cheaper and the classes run shorter. It’s through the National Japanese-American Society. They have classes 3 times a year. I’m sure they’ll post up information on their Fall courses soon. The college is just going to be a hassle with getting my transcripts and everything sent to them to get cleared to enter the damn place. It’s not worth it for 1 class. I really wanted a 2 month class too over a regular college course of 4 months :3.

THANK YOU Juju!!

That sucks big time. It’s not they don’t get students applying so why are they being dumb about it?!! Maybe it’s better you go to the other school even if it is a bit longer to get to and you have to wait until the fall. & yeah, life always throws us a curve ball it seems.

Entschuldigung! I’m such a bad blog pal! First of all, it takes me a COMPLETE month to send out the long-promised letter and then, I completely stopped commenting! x_x But now, I’m up to date and ready to comment on your future entries! It still bothers me that I wrote so much crap in my letter which wasn’t necessary if I had read your blog regularly. So sorry. ;_; Ich hasse mich selber! das Leben ist hart und ungerecht. *heul*

about your Japanese classes… I’m wondering why this world is full of idiots. It upsets me! However, I still do hope that everything is going to be okay regarding your lessons, that you don’t need to take the exam, though I’m sure you’ll pass anyway~

Why you don’t try Kumon Institute of Education? It’s a really pretty japanese metod to learn math, english and japanese. ˆ.ˆv

    *Sorry bad english!! XD*

So Jenny, I know you are a 23 woman, I read your blog every day! XD Well Kumon isn’t just for kids. They have a lot of adults studing math, portuguese (here in Brazil) and japanese too. I’m a Kumon student for 5 years now (i’m 23 too), it’s a really complete and cool program, with flexible classes and you can do the course by mail too, if you want it.

I’m recommending kumon for you because I think the course is the best, but if it’s so far, I think is better invest in Japanese society language school. ^.^/

:O You’re so lucky! I want to learn Japanese! OMG. I want to learn Japanese so that way I don’t have to rely on subtitles when watching Utawara and stuff like that. LOL. Hmm. Well, enjoy your class, and try not to rub it in my face or something. XD
