Trip Shopping

I only own dress shorts for the office so I needed some “rugged” ones for our trip! So I found these tonight along with 2 basic tees that I won’t care about getting snagged on a hike! I also got a hair bandana for the trip and strawberry hair ties. I was in quite a conundrum about how to look cute on our vacation and yet be “forest” ready !! I know I must sound pathetic, but whatever!!! I wanna be cute on my hike, OK!!! Too bad I didn’t know about this trip sooner b/c I could have done shopping for it when I went out and bought all this last week.

I also got a gold shirt for work and a necklace. The anchor is perfect since I do work for the ocean service .

   Eep, I really like that necklace and gold shirt. Very, very cute. And aren’t you going to be the most adorable little hiker.

   I don’t really have to worry about hiking clothes if I go hiking. I live in the boonies so I buy clothes that can handle both work and play.

   I don’t know what where you are going is like for bugs, but bring bugspray. Bugs are evil~

   Such a cute necklace! I love longer “rugged” shorts, I’ve bought a couple of them myself, from PacSun.. They fit perfect, and I think they look really good on just about everyone! For me, they hide my chunky thighs, but show my calves which are in decent (not perfect, but decent) shape!

    Jen, you’re a shopping queen! So many nice things you bought recently! You must look really cute during your trip! The funny thing is that I totally understand you! I’m always bringing tons of different clothes to Alex’ home, because I want to look nice/cute/fashionable/well-dressed oh whatever! hahaha! That’s quite pathetic, but that’s the way I am. XD
