Happy Valentine’s Day (50)

VALENTINE’S DAY

I hope everyone had a good Valentine’s Day~~
Most of you know I’ve been really, really sick this past week. I think that mild flu I had 2 Mondays ago is to blame. I think my body was doing a good job at suppressing it but then those back to back blizzards came through. I was out in it, freezing, wet, and sweating shoveling and walking through it all last week. I think the cold plus having to be indoors day after day, doing basically nothing, lowered my body’s defenses drastically, and the flu took it over. I haven’t felt that bad in a long time The aches were the worst and it took a day 1/2 to get my fever to break. But today I’m feeling better than yesterday. I think tomorrow might be my first normal day. I’m still sleeping constantly today. But now when I take the medicines I actually feel a difference. It’s good.

Woke up to these lovely Valentine’s gifts this morning~~!! I’m a classics lover when it comes to Valentine’s Day
Flowers, balloons, chocolates
I don’t really like getting expensive gifts for Valentine’s Day. Back in college Mike and I tried to do “real gifts” on this day and it never felt right. So every year THE CLASSICS!

Actually I’ll just take the balloons OMFGILOVEBALLOONS!!


He said he went overboard on chocolates because for a while there it looked like it was the only thing he’d be able to get me due to the snow, LOL. I don’t know how I’m supposed to eat all of these, it’s gonna take me like a month!

I felt bad because we couldn’t do what we had planned for Valentine’s Day. Instead I suggested going out this morning for breakfast because I was feeling like I could handle that. It was great! I had buttermilk pancakes with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. It’s really nice to have some of my appetite back. My stomach got a little upset at all the sugar but not too bad I guess.

Censored. Only closest email friend got uncensored picture b/c I took it to send to her, hahahaha! I look like a living dead glasses wearing zombie!

After that we came home I slept some more. Around 4:00 Mike said we should get some food out and bring it home since I’m not feeling well. So we got some Macaroni Grill curbside. Yaaaay~ another great idea because service was fast and it was yummy and we watched “Easy Virtue” while we ate.

This was probably one of the nicest Valentine’s Day to be honest. I think because we made it work despite the snow still everywhere and my being a walking zombie. That’s all that’s important you know~ People who care for you~

Speaking of… THANK YOU EVERYONE for your well wishes. I really appreciate it more than you know.
I’m hoping to getting around to everyone’s blogs and such this coming week~~

Oh Yea~ It’s still icy out….

YesStyle Delivery Despite Snow! (52)


It’s another day of being indoors for me. Government buildings were closed again today and they say tonight we could receive up to 20 more inches of snow! Can you believe this?! CRAZY!

I was feeling a bit awful yesterday with a sinus infection. Today I also felt sluggish so I forced myself to play Just Dance for a few minutes to get me moving. It really helped. I think the non-stop couch potato’ing is definitely turning my body into a fatigued lump.

So you can only imagine my excitement when my YesStyle order came! I ordered a few things~ mostly ゆるカジ style ~

Two things I got are similar to these two styles~ The mock-2 piece layered pullover and the short sweater onepiece style!



Yes, I look like it’s an “off” day for sure!
This is probably my favorite piece just because the fit is really nice and loose and the fabric is so soft~ it’s a great length too! By ZOO
