Another Blizzard

This time we got about 30″ in my area!!

Friday night before the heaviest snow fell
Can you tell how windy it is!? 30mph winds and plentiful, large flaked snow!

Standing in my driveway helping Mike clear the snow~

I’m so sore from shoveling the snow! And the plows haven’t been down my street yet

Thankfully I don’t have work tomorrow because they’re closing all the government buildings. We walked to a local restaurant for lunch! It was actually a challenge just to walk! Only 1/2 of the streets and sidewalks have been cleared. But it was worth it just to get out of the house. The food was good too! I had Mac & Cheese Bites (those were interesting) and these really amazing nachos where filo crust is used instead of corn chips!

Thank you everyone who gave recommendations for New York! It’s really helpful! I wish we were planning to stay longer because there’s just SO MUCH there!

OMG a snow plow just drove up onto my street, the guy got out, looked around, got back into his snow plow truck, and drove off! NUUUUUUUUU! Someone has to accept the challenge of plowing my street please!!!!!!!

I got a formspring account tonight. Everyone on my twitter has recently gotten one and I’m loving reading their answers (and asking too ) so I wanted to jump in! Also, this will give me something to do tomorrow since it’ll be another day indoors

Some questions I’ve gotten already~~

what is your favorite part of your make up and hair routine? least favorite?

FAVORITE PART: Hair - blow drying because it’s easiest, fastest, and burns calories (haahaa!) Make - Blush! I used to hate blush but now I love how easily it can transform a look just with shade or placement!

LEAST FAV: Hair - separating it all in prep for curling. It’s annoying. Make - On a daily basis eyeliner, because it takes the longest. Of all time, lashes! The take a lot of time, tools, and focus =_=;;;

how do you do your hair in the mornings?

Now that it’s shorter it’s easier. For my daily routine (for work,) I spray it with Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost and blow dry using a large barrel brush to curve it inward. Then I take a 1 inch curling iron and curl under just the tips! Hairspray (Victoria’s Secret is my current fav) and run like a demon to catch my train ;P!

what is your favorite brand and magazine?

RIGHT NOW it’s gotta be W♥C because it offers a lot more style choices than typical brands! Some of the items are very girly while others are extremely street and crazy (in a good way!) I think that offering is sorta… fresh and matchs my inner bi-polar fashion sense! Magazine? I’m going to cheat and say PopSister because it IS going monthly this April. Hopefully it won’t suck! Ha! Though since Pinky just ended I feel I’ve gotten style tunnel-vision. =Y

You’re so lucky. I wish we got that much snow instead.

I started a formspring account, and no one asked me any questions yet :(

I’ve asked you some, though

Wow! It’s pretty though~
Ooh, that food looks yummy.

It’s supposed to snow here again tomorrow–and it’s already snowed twice! That’s quite a bit for here. It’s nice, though I don’t really like the thought of going out and having to drive in it. :(

Yea I’m kinda glad when it’s SO much that things shut down because when it’s just a few inches and you gotta get behind that wheel or de-train into unsalted and uncleared snow (wtf seriously they’re trying to kill train riders) it’s daunting!!

We are getting about 7 inches tonight in a snow storm, so it’s nothing compared to 30! But I am still hoping that school will be closed, even though it never is haha. TT I would totally walk in 30 inches of snow to eat that food, it looks totally yummy!

I never heard of springform, I am so outdated! haha

OMG, that’s a heck of a lot of snow. It’s kind of ironic that where I’m living in Canada, the winters are always harsh with snow between 5 - 30m tall. But for some reason, the winter here is just light to normal amount of snow. In a way I’m glad but at the same time worry because of global warming and such. I’m getting hungry by just looking at those tasty pictures lol, but now im off to study and cram for an midterm exam D!

Dang! That’s a whole lot of snow! I’d feel absolutely claustrophobic if I had 30″ of snow surrounding me O_o And why won’t they clear your street? That’s just really unfair. Good thing you get tomorrow off though ’cause I’d be worried if you had to travel to work in such horrid weather. BTW, formspring is such a great idea. I’m sure tons of people are dying to ask you questions .

I wish i could experience snow and weather changes :’( Hawaii remains the same pretty much all year around. I want to be able to wear winter clothing!!! D: Too bad snow causes so many inconveniences for people. You know, if the snow plow guy did that to me i think i would have given chase and hunted him down! haha~ The food looks delish, you always find the coolest things. Mac and cheese bites are so creative

Wow! That’s a lot of snow! I can’t even imagine how much snow that is, or how cold it is.
I’m north of Houston, so just a few flurries and we make fuss. At least the weather seems consistant, here it’s warm one day, drizzly the next and cold after that.

Ahh yes, formspring - I got one when Hannie did, with no real expectations.
At first it was like I was trying to “celebra-tize” myself, but not so much anymore haha

Daaaaamn!! Haha - I like the note about the driver giving up on your street

I kinda know what you mean about getting one. It feels a bit self-important! LOL and I also had this feeling I’d get rude questions which hasn’t been too much of the case… yet, LOL! But we’ll see. I feel like it’ll be like my ameblo where I love it at first but then just get bored! Ha!

We got a lot of snow here in NJ too. The hubby wasn’t very happy about it ’cause he had to go to work and shovel it all. But it was nice for the little one. He hasn’t stopped talking about it.

woah that’s a lot of snow! I love snow but that’s too much, don’t you wish you had a on/off snow button? People in LA act like it’s the end of the world when it rains so I think they would die of shock if it snowed like that here. Also i’ve been doing your diet advice & I already dropped 2 pounds :-) thank you!
