There’s been a lot of balancing of karma going on this week for me. More like, of the world’s karma and I’m just a pawn. I’ve had the crappiest of times just trying to get basic things done, and I’ve also had little rays of hope added in. Case in point, the woman who was starting to be our Real Estate agent is avoiding us. Sheesh, just SAY you don’t want us as clients!! You’re an adult, and what I thought was a professional. It made me feel really shitty about myself because I had been the one talking with her. She acted rude when I said we didn’t want a condo. But fuck that! I looked at the homes up for sale today and we found two detached homes in our price range that we REALLY liked! So we’re not asking for the impossible, that lady was just being a bitch. And we don’t have to settle for a condo. So, gotta find someone else.

random thought I wish I lived in The L Word world :ruru:. Life’s boring in a pain-in-the-ass way. …. Now that Scrubs is syndicated it’s all we ever watch despite the fact we’ve seen all the episodes…. JD’s voice is now my inner voice. A bad sign on too much TV.

Jeez, some people can be so rude. Like my aunt wendy…she was pissed off one fourth of july weekend because noone wanted to go to church and she acted like a child when we all said no. So that’s what I’m assuming this lady is from what it sounds like. And yes I agree with you thank god for caller ID which we have. I’m going to call my friend Margret up when she’s not asleep right now and warn her about it. Anyways, gotta do some finishing touches to my domain. heehee…

I hate when people are SO unable to grasp the appeal of real houses. Sure townhouses/comdos are “cool” and “trendy” but you don’t get your own backyard or ANY privacy.
What a bitch, I’m sure you guys will find someone way more understanding + helpful.

I’ve been feeling the same about the whole karma thing. That sucks about your real estate agent being so immature. I wish you luck with finding your home! I’m sure all the trouble will be worth it in the end.

Anyways, yeah my parents didn’t use a real estate agent to find the houses for us. They used Yahoo Real Estate or something and they drove around the neighborhoods that they liked, looking for sales. Also, when you do find homes that you like, talk to the real estate agent that’s doing the house to see if they have more to offer. And be sure to hook up with more than one agent. That lady of yours doesn’t seem too reliable.

drop the real estate agent and find another one. no point having someone who’s only got half of their heart in the job. anyway, it seems like no one is willing to grow up in the world; always running away.
i know what you mean when everything seems to be against you. this is what i TRY to think when i feel crappy or down. “it will go away soon. like the waves on the ocean; you’ll have high moments and low moments. it’s an endless cycle.” i guess it’s your choice of how quickly you’re going to get back on top of that wave. :] -

My mother is a realtor… I’d say that about half of the other agents in her office are morons like your (old) agent, ha. don’t put up with any shit!
