My current little laptop here hails from the year 2001. It was the laptop I purchased my freshmen year in college. It was so amazing. Especially in comparison to my then computer, a Gateway 2000 that ran Windows 95 and had a hard drive space of 2GB. Yes, 2 GB :wakuwakuheart:

Mike’s been pressuring me to get a new computer for about 3 years now. Mine has its “quirks.” It stands today old and mangled. Riddled with constant bizarre error messages and low disk space warnings. I attempted to reformat it last summer but the hard drive is so old and damaged.. it just couldn’t deal. :rejected:

SO. My new machine arrived today:exclaimit::driftingheart: Purchased with my tax refund and upgraded thanks to Mike’s fantastic boss who let us purchase it through his office giving us quite the price deal!:kyaaface: Including a 22″ monitor. Holy crap it’s huge. My current laptop is a 14″. Hahah. So chat friends, you’ll never have to hear me bitch about my computer “having strokes” for at least the next 7 years!

So that’s what I’ll be doing tonight. Though after I make my final stops at 2 other eyewear stores. I haven’t been able to find those darn D&G pink frames to try on!:kanjicry: Not even in the other colors. But I did try on some thick clear plastic frames yesterday that I liked so I’ll be making a final decision tonight and getting these things crafted. :skipping:
