Remember when I posted that I got these in January?? I laughed so hard when I saw them being used in both Ranzuki & Popteen’s April issues! :grinning:

I don’t know why but I LOVE this outfit! I’m not even a Disney fan (kinda wish it wasn’t a Disney tee, but anyway) I just love it! The mouton boots [ココルル ムートン], pink salopette [titty&co サロペット], knit cap [VENCE], and thin carefree T-shirt underneath
This just made me laugh~ it was one of the scenes from a 2 week dress up section
Sure, it’s just a 31 Sons de Mode AD & not her actual bus/truck or anything but still… haha :happylove: I’d run it down to take a snap next to it!! *plans for her next trip*
I remember when Rinka was just a semi-retired older model with a blog~~~ She’s gotten mega popular and in following her blog from then till now it hasn’t really changed her.
I haven’t much to say about my life really. It’s so cold & rainy & today I had to go to the doctor’s for a routine checkup which was fine. Finally that fuckin’ scale matched to the body weight I THOUGHT I was at! Every year I go and they weigh me in 5lbs heavier than what my scale at home says! But this year BOO-YA!! I came up not only near what my home scale says but 9lbs lighter, hahaaa. OK it’s only 9lbs but still
This Hello Kitty creeps me out a little. Her eyes are cute but the blob blonde hair is just weird… why not give her actual synthetic curly gal hair instead??

Oh my goodness O_o What have they done with Hello Kitty?! Honestly, I’m not so fond of latest Hello Kitty designs. Hah, and I used to be obsessed with Sanrio. Anyway, hey Jen, I’ve been meaning to ask you about something. You know those “freebies” (such as bags and stuff) that comes with some of the Japanese magazines? Do you have to mail order them? Or do they come with the magazine? I’m just curious :) Thanks!

Whee! I love the fact I am using my iPhone to type this! It’s intoxicating fun! I can’t wait until I get poupee on this! Gonna be so addicted to it! Great scans of the truly awesome glasses! I love just buying random fun items! And the salopette is so cute! I always want to wear such cute clothes but get too lazy! I always end up wearing nearly the same clothes all the time. ;0;
I have to have patience to grow my hair out too! I really want to have great long locks! :3 like yours!

That Hello Kitty looks like it has a blonde squid on it’s head D: I’ve seen glasses like the one you have, except not as large, I think they’re from Girl Props? The Rinka bus is definitely cool, looks so much more interesting than the boring MTA buses here :(

I’m desperate to lose about 15 lbs for this June – I have a big gallery show coming up and there’s NO WAY I’m going through another incident where I come across a candid photo of myself looking like I have a double chin – AHH >.

That outfit is SO CUTE! I love it too. The fact that it’s pink makes me love it even more, haha.
It’s good that Rinka is still so popular considering her age and career. It sometimes makes me feel a little sad when models can no longer continue their career, or be as popular as they were before because they’re getting old and they just need to bring out more of the younger models. Well, I think sometimes those older & more experienced models can bring out a different image and glow that other younger models can’t express due to their lack of experience~

yeah i bet rinka’s success has to do with her down to earthness which isn’t seen that often in japan’s idols, err trying too hard is usually obvious, natural charisma is to be in awe of while fakeness is..well just fake
