I “dun goof’d” :lol: on myself last night. :smallcry: I was scrubbing the bathroom tile with some Oxyclean. On hands & knees, toothbrush in hand scrubbing the tile grout. :;_;: I had the doors open & vent on for ventilation. :good: But I got increasingly impatient (because I wanted to take a bath, lol) and decided to switch from cleaning small sections at a time to spraying the entire floor all at once! BIG MISTAKE. I wasn’t thinking… :down: I’m usually so careful with these cleaners. I always think I’m gonna accidentally mix bleach & ammonia & end up killing myself. The fumes aren’t as obvious with Oxyclean because it doesn’t smell as strongly. :;_;: Well I was sitting in the fumes much, much too long. :madmark: Being all OCD scrubbing & re-scrubbing. :ackface: After I was done I realized my eyes were super puffy & throat & nose SO SORE. :facepalmcry: My eyes dried out so badly that they’re still red today. :girlrage:
GAAAAAAAH I’M SO CARELESS SOMETIMES! >O
I’ll be wearing my glasses until after the weekend plus no eyemake. :crap: Just to be safe you know. :(
Worst thing is I can’t tell if I’m getting sick or if it’s just the fume damage to my throat that has me feeling flu-ish. I have a few coworkers around the office that are sick. So I bought Vitamin C cough drops and AIRBORNE yesterday. :laughingheart:
I got a few winter (fall/winter) items this weekend at H&M. I can’t help myself, I crave fall again so badly!! I EXTREMELY LOVE this little collection they put out. :star2:
It’s full of neutral tones and khaki :twinklepink: and even has a felted bowler hat~ *_* OK, :;_;: I must say I borderline hated bowler hats. :eep: I was quite, “Oh god, yea, I’ll pass this, wtf am I, clockwork orange!?” :;_;::smallcry: But then I tried it on & Mike was all “you look cuuute!” And… I really liked how it went with the other pieces from this collection. :!: SO I FUCKIN’ BOUGHT IT. HAH! I blame Emi and every other adorable model wearing it with wonderfully casual looks. :headheart:
BTW anyone notice all the Victoria’s Secret “PINK” style sweats in H&M right now? DNW. :supercry: Why? :doubledquestion: There’s already plenty of stuff that looks like PINK stuff out there already. I thought maybe they teamed up or something, I don’t even know. :blushingcute::smallcry: I was just a bit taken back by it is all. Probably just trying to get in on the college girls buying up new semester comfies! LOL, Oh H&M~~ :D
OK, I’m off to bed. Mmmmmm I need more time in my days~ :facecry:

Aw, sorry to hear about your little incident in the washroom. I hope you feel better soon! I sometimes get impatient when cleaning the washroom too.
Omg, I am ALL ready for fall! It has been WAY too hot this summer that I just couldn’t do much layering with my summer outfits and it’s just too hot to be wearing anything. :(

You do look cute in your bowler hat! I love the striped shirt with the decor at the shoulders too. That looks like it’ll be a cute top to wear in the fall :D
I’m really looking forward to fall because of the fashion direction change. Spring/summer was all about colours, florals and girly fashions but it seems fall is completely opposite and there’s lots of more mannish styles & neutral colours. I love it!!

I LOVE fall and winter coordinates so much more than spring/summer. I don’t know why, I feel like the only outfits I could put together that are “stylish” are layered and that just doesn’t work in summer, obviously. I really have no idea how to be fashionable with my summer clothes! haha ;;

duuuuuuude I totally know what you mean about the OCD thing of crawling about the tiled floor with bleach-like cleaner and a toothbrush T_T. I’ve totally done that and right now I’m putting off cleaning my bathroom (I know, gross right) because I HATE getting all sweaty and gross cleaning the stupid tiny hot room while inhaling mass amounts of cleaner only to have someone step in and and take a nice shower before me! sobsob loool. You look adorable in the bowler hat though I gotta admit I dun like them too much since I look fantastically stupid in them with my oddly shaped head hahaha. How much longer till you’re off to Japan again?

Hey at least you clean! I went downstairs to make dinner and couldn’t even find the stove for all the dirty dishes! D: I feel like such a bad wife! Gotta keep up with at least the basic cleaning! D: lol
I’ve learned to love those types of sweats. Maybe I should head over to H&M & get some! I feel like they’d be cheaper than VS…

Ahh cleaning chemicals! Not cool. I hope you get well soon. And yeah I’m so scared of mixing chemicals up too, but I don’t have to worry about that until I get my own house. Oh the dirtiness of college students…we rarely ever clean.

It could be that the fumes trigger your body to all of a sudden, put up its defense, which then makes you body think its sick..of course, this is just my theory into how I think my body works.
But something similar has happened to me. Except we were working with ‘Spitfire’ or some sort of heavy duty chemical degreaser. I went into the physician, they gave me a prescripted inhaler and some antibiotics. they also suggested me to go get my chest examined because i wasn’t sure if that was the problem or not since I was complaining that my chest felt very heavy when I laid down. In the end, I figured it was some sort of lung irritation from the chemicals.
With a family of smokers, I hated it too. The slightest change in air threw me into a coughing frenzy.
Anyways, with antibiotics I’m sure it’ll go away…Get well soon.

This is a question that is pretty much unrelated to your post, but… Do you still wear your circle lenses? I heard on the news a while ago that circle lenses were banned from the United States because they can damage your eyes or something… Just curious. :T

Oh my. I didn’t know toilet cleansers are so dangerous! I don’t have an apartment of my own so I don’t clean the bathroom! I do once in a while but not with any cleaning agent though.

ive been feeling a little soar throarty too recently which makes me worry for sure!! I really hope its not a cold or flu!!! But i’m taking precautions as well. ( i hope its just allergies ^-^)
After i saw your H&M snaps I RAN THERE LITERALLY to find that bowtie shirt, but it was like 40+ for a shirt with a rayon necktie….uh no tanks!
