Meishoku Organic Rose Skin Conditioner
Monday October 22, 2012

I’m super excited!
I kept mentioning regretting not getting this when I picked up Meishoku’s Organic Rose Hair Water and Skin Conditioning Gel. Then last week I saw imomoko.com added it to their site! I ordered it right away! It’s actually out of stock now and I just got it in the mail. WOW. Lucky.
I have high hopes for this lotion/toner. It was ranked #1 for 2011 on cosme.net and was still all over stores, such as ranKing ranQueen, this spring with high recommendations. It also ranks higher with women in their late 20’s (me!)
This reminds me of the Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel toner. I have always been a bit curious about Thayers but I was worried it would break me out. Almost everything breaks me out, but after having used Meishoku’s skin conditioning gel without any pimples appearing, I feel bold enough to try Meishoku’s toner as well.

It’s best for shrinking pores, brightening skin tone, moisturizing, and preventing oil.
I’m most interested in the pore benefits.
I do use a toner already. Clinique’s Acne Solutions Clarifying toner. It’s a bit too drying to use every day for me. I tend to only use it when I have a breakout or on days I wore makeup from early morning to late night.
When testing this out I won’t use my Clinique toner at all though. I’ll instead use this once a day after cleansing but before moisturizing. :)
Have I mentioned I’m super excited!?
Yes, I have.
I am. :celebrate:

I Love Organic Rose
Wednesday September 26, 2012
I love the two Meishoku Organic Rose items I picked up in April. Absolutely love.

First the “hair water.” It’s been great to use in the mornings before blow drying. It was especially helpful during summer on a sun-tortured scalp. It mostly leaves my scalp feeling moisturized but it also adds a nice but light texture to my hair as well. If I’m running late in the morning I’ll just use this and blow dry. It gives my hair a nice sleek look without looking completely undone. Smooths flyaways and helps with damaged ends.
Oh and smells great! Of course! Like fresh rose.
It’s a light scent and not too overpowering. Described as “fruity rose.”

It can be used on towel dry hair or completely dry hair. The scent is extremely subtle when used on towel dry hair. When used on dry hair the scent is more apparent like a body spray. I tend to use it before blow drying, to protect my hair from the styling heat but it’s often used as a refresh spray for bedhead or messy hair after going out because it “cuts” the smell of food and tobacco. It’s also silicone-free. I think it might be really good for static come winter! I end up with really electrified hair during winter months.
OH GOD, and now this exists too!?
The second product I have is the Organic Rose Skin Conditioning Gel. It’s a clear gel that moisturizes and tightens. I mostly use this on days I wash my makeup off after work. It gives my skin a nice extra boost of moisture. I use it a few times a week. It smells amazing and does a great job plus the jar lasts. Though I think it’s too tacky of a gel to use in the morning before applying makeup. I’ve only ever used it when I knew I’d be makeup-free.

I said this before but, again, I regret not buying the toner of this series. Also there’s a new moisturizing cream out now that I would love to try.
