I felt pretty OK today, but not great with a few moments of feeling like shit at work today. I could go into work~ but blah~ it’s only interesting to me… hahahaha. I did get the passport photos. I want to say something though. I don’t want to really… I don’t mention Italy a lot because there’s still a 40% chance it won’t happen. I mean, the rooms & tickets still need to be booked and my Grandfather is really the one heading this up. If for some reason he can’t get rooms or a date booked in time… well, let’s just say there’s a chance it might not happen, but we’re trying ^_^;. I’m sure I jinxed myself by buying a journal for the trip! However, trip or not Mike & I need to get our passports renewed! We will be travelling internationally within the next few years anyway so we might as well buy them now before the price spikes more!!! Anyway, I guess I’m scared to get too excited about Italy because what if it gets cancelled? You know?? So yea, I guess that’s why I act very nonchalant about it right now because I’m still not 100% certain it’s still on.
Despite that long speech, I bought the cool journal and a pocket Italian phrase book!!! Also, a NEKO! April’s issue. here’s a better look at the journal. I really love the design and feel of it. The pages have different travel symbols and photos throughout, and also there’s an address section and conversion section. A whole section has grid paper, it’s just graphically appealing to me!
I also cleaned my desk/armoire today. I can see to write again! I just cleaned up the main part, the other sections are still organized from my last “big clean.”
Mike and I were unknowingly both looking at engagement rings while at work today!! I wasn’t going to say anything but I did and he was shocked because he too had been looking at rings online at work today. About a month ago I was having troubles wondering if I was ready to get married or not… then I told Mike that it’s his decision. I wanted him to ask me to marry him when he felt we were ready. So, that could mean tomorrow, or in two years…. either way it’s not my worry!! I want him to pick out the ring alone of course, but I’m not dumb, I’m letting him know what I’m looking for. Really, I’m want something different, with color. I think I’m really leaning towards a princess cut diamond with pink sapphire stones aside the diamond or along the band. We found a few online that I really liked, a few at Tiffany’s too which is good because there’s one in town. But…. no rush, no hurry, but it’s nice to start to realize the style I’m going for. The price isn’t much of an issue either. We’ve been kinda looking around the $4,000 – $10,000 range. I’m more interested in the style than the size of the diamond. I would be sad with a single diamond worth $15,000. I’d rather have a diamond with other stones worth $4,000 if it’s more my style! Haha, OK, I’m getting WAY wordy.
There were more I saw online that I liked, but I didn’t get a picture. I just think looking at these are pretty :).

I hope you get to go on your trip. I know you’ve been thinking about it a lot lately! I’m worried about my own trip to Japan next year~ there hasn’t been a single meeting for it this semester and it would make me so mad for it to be cancelled because I’ve actually saved $1500 for it! I wish I had your desk, lol. It’s like your own personal store~ All the rings look gorgeous so I have no idea how you’re going to pick just 1, haha. I’m sure Mike will get the perfect one for you :D

on the second “ring style page” i really liked that gold ring with one huge yellow stone! so pretty~ Yeah..getting your hopes high is not so good…especially if it’s not 100% yet, but I really really hope you guys get to go! You will have so much fun. Your desk is so cute ^__^ i need to clean mine too…it gets messy the day after I clean it! ahhhhh!

WAHH =X i love ur journal that u bought and the cover of Neko is to die for but mostly about the rings! that’s so exciting, i feel really grown up knowing someone close to me is getting married !!! i am super excited for you =)) xDD i hope you do, although it’s just rings, we are having a tiffany’s open here too, the rings are soo pretty omgg =)) yay good for you. !!! XD XD

I really hope you’ll be able to go to Italy. I would be the same way…not getting too excited if I knew there is a slight chance of not going. Well, I hope in the end it all works out for you. :D I got the letter today but it actually came yesterday in the mail but my brother didn’t bring it only the box. THANKS!! XD And yes, we have the house to ourselves for the three weeks. I kinda want to clean and reorganize b/c the house is quite messy with Kaylie’s toys and clothes piling up, hehe~ I love the ring styles you posted. I especially like anything with a pink stone, hahah, so the pink sapphires are just my style. I was actually looking for one when I got my aquamarine ring last year. Oh ya, did you ever get my letter I sent last week? The one in the pink envelope with frenchfries, I think it was, hehe~ Just wondering…take care and hope you’re feeling a lot better now. :P

I really hope you’ll go to Italy, Rome is very nice :) And that journal looks really cool! But, those rings are *sigh* KIREI !!!! Haha, my sister and I have been browsing wedding dresses, but we don’t have any plans :D I never really thought about rings, but those look really nice!

ahhhh this is so exciting!!! can’t believe marriage is actually coming close for you now~ it’s been sooo many years with him eh? haha…raymond and debra…hilarous!~~ i think the one with diamond in the middle with 2 blue diamonds on the side looks gorgous, and the one with pinkish kinda diamonds on the side looks sooo gorgeous too~~ hope you find your dream ring!~~ ^.^

Yay for you guys! ^_^ Wow, I’ve never seen such colorful engagement rings. I didn’t have many hopes for my ring, I just wanted it to be white gold. Matt picked it out by himself and I love it because it’s so different :)
