Fourth

Where was I on the 4th of July?…

Home. Happily though. I’m SO glad we didn’t go to the capital for the fireworks this year. The past 2 times we’ve gone they’ve threatened rain but it never happened. This year it DID rain and thankfully we weren’t there. Let’s see…

Saw Transformers. I was expecting fighting robots a la the cartoon show I grew up with… and that’s what I got! The movie was actually better than expected. A decent summer flick. I liked the first half better before they all “got into character.” But whatever. A B+ in the genre of summer blockbusters. Then we BBQ’d. Then Mike napped so I knitted for 3 hours. Then we watched the local fireworks from the roof of our apartment building.

Honestly I was happy to stay home with my knitting & tea. OH and the Onsen Bath Powder Review Page has been updated too!

*fiddles with desk items*
I’m fidgety… and stressed out. I need a vacation SO badly you guys . Not just 1 day (like today.) A REAL vacation. But I don’t have any set up. And I only have 2 vacation hours in my queue… BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH //// fails

My friends went to see Transformers & I heard a lot of good reviews form them as well. The guys kept saying that ‘it’s all about the robots, just ignore the humans!’ I know what you mean by feeling figity. Sometimes you just want to break away!

Transformers robots in disguise! Best theme tune! Haha, I only found out about that movie yesterday, not sure if it’s out here yet. But…no interest I’m waiting for the Hong Kong version of NANA2 and the last HP book ( I haven’t READ a book since the one before :/ )
and Death Note..should watch that…

Skip work don’t go in! Take your own vacation!

I saw the weather forecast and the weatherman said there’s a tornado watch (or warning) and thunderstorm warning around the Washington area. I was like…”Wow, I wonder how they are going to have the firework display…” Yeah, it’s a smart choice to stay home.

I agree with you about Transformers. The 1st half was much more exciting. Everything is unpredictable. But after they started battling and stuff, you are just like…okay, this might take a while.

Vacation…yeah, I need one as well. I didn’t really get a chance to rest after school ended. Driver’s Ed and hospital work came right after. Anyways, hopefully both of us will get some time off soon!

I don’t want to watch Transformers. Blergh. Not only do I know the crap that it’s about… but I don’t like mindless action flicks.

I hope you get that vacation soon!

It’s never rained for me at home on the 4th of July. Only when I went to Pennsylvania last year. But it cleared up in time for fireworks, thank goodness!

I really liked Transformers. The first half prior to when the the actual story line was revealed… was definitely better. I loved the cheesiness of it all.

I’m glad your July 4 was good. Mine was crazy spent at Disneyland!

Omg, I tried to see Transformer on July 3 at night, but it was all sold out. We waited in line for awhile only to be disappointed that it was sold out.
