Omurice

Thursday, February 21st, 2008 | 26 Comments

I went to pick up my magazines today followed by eating omurice for the first time! It was so good . I had wanted to try the place for a while (Temari Cafe) because I heard it was homestyle Japanese. It’s cute. There was a TV on playing Japanese TV and they have a lot of desserts I want to order next time. I didn’t have time tonight :(. But they serve かき氷 & あんみつ

1: Omurice brought home b/c it was HUGE. 2: Blueberry アポロ 3: Milky Bath Salts. 4: SANA Nameraka Facial Mask

nom nom nom that’s it!

Mmm…I love omurice. I tried to make it at home one time, but it didn’t come out looking so nice.

The omurice looks really tasty!! I wish we had more Japanese restaurants here. The most of them are only sushi & teppanyaki which is quite boring. =c

You got the new issue of Non-no! For some reason the Japan bookstore near my place doesn’t sell Non-no. -_-; Thank goodness they do have Vivi though.

Waa! Omurice! My friend intoduced it to me about 2 years ago and now everytime I go to my favourite japanese food place (ok, one of the many!) - Kadoya - It’s a choice between the omurice and katsu-set! :0 *so much drooling!*

Mmmm! nice collection of goods! It reminds me that I need to hit the shops for cute things! Yay! *Time to stock up on the cute and adorable do-hickies!*

Cool- one of my Flickr friends in Japan just posted a picture today of some omurice she had recently. Now I want to try some!
I might have to check out that cafe! Have you been to that cafe under the Japanese store? I went there once- the food was pretty good! I wish more Japanese people lived around here- there’s NOTHING. >_

Ahhh! Omurice! I made some at home and I love it! I really love tomato ketchup so it seemed natural to me to have with with fried rice and omelet!

Heh, those face masks are always so fun to use. You must let me know how good they are. I’m looking for some that make my eye bags look smaller

I recently tried the Korean version of Omurice. It’s pretty good but have ketchup with my rice still needs a little bit of getting used to. >.

do you order your mags or just pick them up from the market?

I usually order online or have my friend purchase me some in NY (chinatown)….I wish the japanese/korean markets around me sold magazines!!!
