Busy is an understatement for me. But I’m doing a good job of squeezing some fun things in… Yesterday I went to DC and got to see Stephen Colbert’s portrait :skipping:
OK, I’ll do a long update since I might be MIA for a while still. I’m just not able to lounge around online like I used to lately.
First off, last Wednesday we had the walk-through for our new home! Here are just a few photos (just a few of the rooms.) More photos AFTER we paint. We close next week (aka I can start painting & moving in next weekend.)
I can’t describe the anticipation; :blushingcute: or how much my current apartment is sucking the life out of me at the moment (god I hate this damn apartment.) We have current lease till April 30th so we’re going to take a month to move into the house. :celebrate:
In other anticipation news my 25th (crap I’m old) birthday is coming up in 3 weeks! I think I’ve decided to just go clothes shopping for a day. I originally wanted a Cher eco-bag [cherエコバッグ] like the one Rinka has!
Sadly they’re impossible to get a hold of! Limited edition. The only online place not sold out are Yahoo!Japan Auctions. :stressedmind: I could use a purchasing company to help me get a bag from one of the auctions; but with the mark-up prices plus the fact it’s an auction (which isn’t 100% reliable to begin with) I’m just going to watch for any online stores that might get restocked instead. Honestly I’ll probably never get one, はははああはあ :kanjicry: c’est la vie
I haven’t been posting my fisheye or holga135 photos here lately. Basically because I’m so active on my flickr. So, anyway, here’s some spamming!

OMG, how exciting! The house looks beautiful. The hardwood floors, the big open space, the wonderful natural lighting! I hope you have a fun time filling up that house with goodies and what not! I love moving in!

it’s so busy lately! no time for me to bum around on computer either. my excuse at the moment is that it is SOO hot and my relative’s house has no air con. i miss home now.
the apartment looks real nice. i love new apartment without the furniture, reminds you of the possibilities :p
All the best for the apartment and that all this stress will die down soon. hopefully it’ll die just in time for your birthday, so you can extra extra reward yourself with that shopping. gahh~ i haven’t shopped in ages~ ;A; -

Oooooh I love the colours in your photos! The dots obsession one is slightly creepy but interesting! Where did you take those photos? Was it at an art gallery?
Could there be fake versions of that ecobag? :x they will be cheaper?

Your new house look great, I love the townhouse balcony and the 3 windows at the front ^^ The carpet looks very similar to ours ( OH HOW EXCITING! XD )!That cher eco bag looks big enough to carry everything you own inside! Maybe you’ll find a similar version somewhere that’s even better? Tokyomade.com might have something. I’ll look out for you anyway, there might be something in London!!
