At Least it’s Warmer Out?

Like my daffodils?! A client & friend gave them to me this week. It was really sweet and kept me going when I felt stressed out. Though they got super rained on & blown over today by the crazy winds!! :rainyumb: Hopefully they’ll recover
Had to get my new crown looked at today. It hurts really badly all of a sudden :F
My doctor was out so this other doctor looked at it. OK, let me just say he was kinda pissing me off because he was giving me a hard time about not being able to handle prescription painkillers. WTF?! I’m sooooooorry! I know, I TOTALLY BARF THEM UP ON PURPOSE, OBVIOUSLY! … anyway~
He reshaped the crown to correct my bite in hopes that’s all it is. I have to wait a week to see if the pain goes away. If not I’ll probably need a root canal
So anyway, I was flipping through the latest Pinky and saw this one pager about the new Forever21 store that opened. I tweeted about Tokyo getting a Forever21 a few months back. My friend is disappointed. Soon all the girls will be wearing Forever21 taking away it’s specialness she used to feel when I’d send her F21 clothes or she’d buy a ton in Hawaii… I totally understand that; the limited-ness makes it special!

It’s just a hairband~ like the ones you use in the tub or when removing makeup. I have 1 already but it’s so boring. This one is just so… chic! Such lovely room style version :bow:
I really love this outfit~~ I think this look really embodies my ideal for spring/summer! I just love the sorta baggy, pastel tee layered with a ruffled skirt, heels, and fedora~~ Not too crazy about the purse (looks cute but not my style) and also, being raised Catholic, I don’t think I could ever stomach wearing a rosary… though I think it looks so freakin’ badass! HAHAHAH :gigglewakuface:
I love the simple tee layered with this smock top! I find it’s a bit hard to find that perfect layering tee for some items like rompers and ruched tube tops. IMO~~ :mkpoo:

I hope your crown is okay! I have been lucky and have heard nothing about getting my wisdom teeth or anything, haha.
And I felt the same way when H&M started to show up everywhere!!! I thought I was cool because it was only in San Francisco in California. I feel like everything I buy from Forever 21 — someone already has it!

i totally feel her on the f21 thing..it’s just not as cool anymore, now that they have it too.
and my friend found a plain white crew neck tee (but slim) at abercrombie & hollister that she layers with dresses so try looking there!

haha i know how your friend feels! We don’t have many Forever21s here in Canada either! only 2 locations in Toronto (1 just opened recently so i’m so excited to go!)

Ouch! Your crown sounds painful. I almost had to get a crown or a root canal on one of my teeth, but I kind of passed on that because I don’t have money for it and is scared of the pain. ^^;
Those outfits look cute. I agree that is it hard to find the right layering tee for those tube tops. I just wish tees here aren’t so THIN that they feel almost as if you’re wearing a nude bra. -____-” However, I always find it hard to find tees that have the right neck line. They’re all either too up high or too low. =/

I saw the F21 spread in PINKY also~ I can totally understand how your friend feels. I hate when stuff I love suddenly goes mainstream & loses that ‘uniqueness.’ The furoku is too too cute though~! I hope I can snag one soon ;o;
Btw~ I usually get my layering tees at GAP because they sell really simply, comfy tees! We have an outlet store at the mall near me, so they’re really cheap, like 5$/tee ☆

Ohh! I heard Trader Joes is selling a whole lot of daffodils (or was it tulip?) sticks, a bundle for a dollar. I’d get something if I had somewhere to put it. :P
That sucks about your tooth … omg, my dad ended up getting a root canal like, last year or so and didn’t get anesthesia. Bad ideaaaa!

Daffodils are one of my favorite kinds of flower :) They really do brighten up a person’s day! Sorry to hear about your tooth. I do hope you won’t have to get a root canal because I had one and it was the worst dentist experience of my life. On top of that, my dentist wasn’t very nice -_-

Aw no I hope your tooth gets better. Root canal isn’t that bad. I had it done and to be honest it was worth it just to get rid of the pain. I was hellish nervous beforehand but really it wasn’t as bad as I’d been expecting. Still, hopefully you won’t need it. *Fingers crossed*
I am so useless at layering my clothes. I think cos I’m not as skinny as the girls in the fashion mags I just feel like I look really fat when I try hehe.

Darling outfits…though I can’t handle smock tops…having worked at a fabric store and having to stare at the fabric all day (it comes like that…you can make your own just by sewing up the back). Anyway, sorry to hear about your tooth! How can some people NOT understand that people aren’t all alike and all that? Jeebus, especially a doctor ;;== Hope it gets resolved soon! Feel better!

I need to be a tiny Asian girl so I can wear cute outfits. I suppose I could find some to fit my hourglass shape but it’s such a pain LOL. There needs to be a magazine for girls who are curvier. I should start picking up some Latin fashion mags XD
