The Weekend Should be 3 Days (24) 
Finally found shoes I’ve been wanting!
Been wanting something like this ALL summer…

Things that happened this weekend include me falling asleep on the shag rug with a cup of tea, music, & Mike reading comics next to me, a spontaneous call from my friend in Japan, getting my salary increase, finally picking up mine & mike’s wedding bands, finding out I won’t be attending the big office retreat even though I’m on the planning team and other random craziness…. 
I really don’t have anything to talk about… though this is kinda funny (in a har-har way.) Cher-like logos popping up everywhere in different brands. 2 examples…
I’ve kinda had a headache since Thursday night. It’s on & off… tried so many things from medication to diet… hum~~ Guess it’s a “wait it out” one. Stress or environment???

Tomorrow’s Friday! (21)
It’s true. And after that it’s FREAKIN’ SATURDAY! Thank gooooooodness. Long, long week at work. Ready to chill & catch some sun :spiritsup:! I had stuff to talk about but it’s so late I’ve forgotten. Not to say things are boring, but the non-boring stuff I don’t ever feel like thinking about when “away from it.” *cough* work *cough*
I felt like taking random photos today. Top left: Typical Japanese summer fizzing candy 
; next blotting sheets; bottom left is the Pinky calendar (Summer months are scandalous, no?!); Finally my new bedspread and Blackie (a cat pillow I’ve had since I was 14!! He’s my true love… mike gets very jealous)

Scanned in Ageha earlier today. GOD IT’S SO AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC.

this magazine because it picks apart every aspect of the models’ lives! Even showing receipts of purchases and bath-time rituals of each girl!? LOVERRRLY
Anyway, I guess I’m off to bed… the sooner tomorrow begins the sooner I’ll be on my train home

Soups, bags, alcohol, and steaks (27)
I made cabbage soup today for lunch 
. I was working @ home today :driftingoff: It’s that recipe from the cabbage soup diet, but rest assured I’m not doing the diet. i just love cabbage but don’t get to eat it that often. This soup is really, really easy to make and easy to adjust to your liking 
CABBAGE SOUP
- 1 can of diced tomatoes
- 1 head of cabbage
- 3 plus large green onions
- 1 large can of beef broth (no fat)
- 1 pkg. Lipton Soup mix (onion)
- 1 bunch of celery
- 2 lbs. Carrots
- 1 Green Peppers
- 1/2 sliced white onion
Cut veggies in small to medium pieces.
Cover with water. Boil fast for 10 minutes. Reduce to simmer and
continue to cook until veggies are tender.Season with salt, pepper curry, parsley, if desired, or bouillon, hot or Worcestershire sauce.
I actually cut the ingredients by 1/2 to make a smaller pot.
In spending my money news, Karme & I have purchased Cher eco-bags 
bwahahahaha bag twins, HERRO! Temptation be damned! I spent more than my normal frugal self and I have NO regrets. Despite what Karme says!! hahahaはははははは I’ve only talked about the cher eco-bag over & over & over again. It’ll be a few weeks of waiting now (darn Japanese auctions~ hahah)
WHOOT!
Then tonight mike & I had a date~ Very nice steak house. It was so delicious. And then we hit up a liquor store to stock up for July 4th. I have a friend visiting and so it’ll be nice to have some drinks. We tossed everything we had before when we moved because they were nearly gone anyway.
