New Stores

Wednesday, January 11th, 2006 | 18 Comments

My day started out as a total bitch-fest drag. But Then I found two Japanese Stores today! One was a book/cds/gift store. It had a lot of magazines and gifts like maneki neko and kokeshi dolls. I want to start collecting both the neko & dolls. They had a lot of other really adorable gifts too. It also had some stationery! Really cute stuff. They have a lot of magazines. Vivi, Seventeen JP, CanCam, More, With, CoCo, Ray, JJ, and so on. Mainly lifestyle magazines for women. I was thinking of getting the Seventeen or the Ray… but I decided to wait. It also had crochet books. No just knitting ones though. It had so much stuff. Lots of manga. The adult magazine section caught Mike’s eye, harhar, just kidding, it caught my eye!! HAHAHAHA. Anyway. It was awesome. Then next door these’s a cute Japanese minimarket! Lots of food and drinks!!! TONS of hair products! I was so overwhelmed that I didn’t get any of it because I want to consult my Non-no mags first! Hahaha.

PHOTO OF THE CRAP!

Now here are some pictures from the candy toy I got. It’s this.

Yes, I saved them at low quality.

I’ll post more photos at the photo archive.

Also, I’ve only been on to update. I’ve read emails but I’ll TRY to respond by tonight to them. But I’m really bad at reading emails and then waiting to respond when I’m “not so busy.” Yea, I know, I suck. I’m just really tired & have no real time here at my home PC.

Waaiii that sounds like walking into a candystore for the Japan Fan unfortunately I found out the local bookshop doesn’t run Cancam anymore, guess nobody bought it since there aren’t mainstream people interested in buying a magazine they can’t read for €15,- *sigh* Seeing all the cute stuff you got makes me wanna run to the tiny Japanese Supermarket in Amsterdam

Waugh! I wish there were more Japanese markets around here. There’s a TON of Korean places but none Japanese T_T They always make such darling things and the packaging is always so much nicer than anything American T_T
