I had a doctor’s appointment today. It went OK, except that I was measured in at 5′ 1″… You see, I’ve been measured at 5′ 3.5″ for years. So I had Mike measure me at home… he got 5′ 1.5″. WHAT THE HELL. And it upsets me so much! I don’t know… It’s hard… to know you’re short your whole life then feel like someone stole 2 inches off!!!! But nothings physically different. ahhhhh, I hate numbers! They ruin my life! :ashock:
I bought myself an early birthday gift :gift: . Just a few tops and this deliciously gaudy necklace. I love owls. They remind me of my grandmother.
I know I’m not updating as much as I used to. I’ve been busy… but really busy is my normal pace in life now. Honestly, that’s a lie. Monday night (with Mike’s coercion) I sat on the couch for 3 hours watching nothing but House episodes. Then I went to bed.
Mid-April I’m getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I’m scared shit-less to have an IV. More so than I am of the slight risk of complications. At one point my doctor says:
doctor: So the vein will then….
me: (I make a terrible cringe face as if I smelled a fart… )
doctor: “OK! We won’t say THAT word anymore!”

I’m supposidly 5′2 but who knows now. I’ve always been short so I’m kinda use to it. I’m probably really 5′1, bleh~
I’m just glad Kaylie is sooo tall for her age, she’s always been. Atleast she won’t feel the insecurities of being short all her life. ^_______^ But anyhow, I sooo feel your pain.
Ack, atleast it’ll be after you b-day so you can enjoy your cake, hehe~ I was paranoid of getting an IV when I had Kaylie. I was more scared of that then actually giving birth, hahaha~ It ended up not being “that” bad. The lady even had to do it a few times (why do those things always happen to me??) but it wasn’t sooo bad like I thought it would be. Also when I got my epideral they had to do it 3x. 0__o; Why me?? Why meeeee?? Okay, I’m done being dramatic, LOL. I think it’s bed time now…

hahaha.. so i slouch a bit, which is bad for my posture =( o welllsi had a wisdom tooth problem a while ago, it hurt for a few days and it went away, so now i don’t know what to do haha

i’m about 5′2″ but that’s due to my sister’s measuring skills. lol. so who knows.
i don’t know about my wisdom teeth yet, we’re still waiting for them to grow. :x

Well… when I was filling out my license forms it said ‘height’ and i’m like ‘well.. i’ve always been 160cm!’ (sorry I have no idea what that is in imperial units). They looked at me and told me to measure myself… I turned out to be 156… -_-”. It was embarassing too.. like they thought I was doing it to make myself look ‘officially taller’.

It’s like you’ve been deceived hight wise, it would be so embarrassing if before you were like “well at least I’m not 5′ 1″..” XD I’d love to be shorter though, when I measure myself it comes out as an inch shorter at 5′ 5″ o_0

I know how that feels! For the longest time I was measured at 171cm and now suddenly I’m 168cm!! XD Maybe we’re all just shrinking~ I hope the same goes for my weight lol
Aaah! Wisdom teeth sound painful~ I haven’t got mine in yet and thankfully I’ve never had a cavity :3 I wish you luck!!

Oh eeek… you just reminded me to get MY wisdom teeth checked out! And why would you need to have an IV? My god. Don’t they just gas you? :s… Well, good luck though, I’m sure you’ll be fine. For real. It always seems worse than it really is.

I had my wisdom teeth taken out last year, and for a while it’s not too bad. They send you home with really powerful pain killers that knock you out for a few hours, though. :P

aww, don’t worry: having an IV is not as bad as it sounds ;)
Maybe you were just having a bad posture day :) Look on the bright side.. being short helps you pull of the Japanese kawaii style thing. And, you can walk into any store and buy pants that are long enough without thinking twice (*fantasizes*)

i actually have a hieght of 5′ and still im not groing. yikes!* i know what you feell, i just hate it when some of my classmates(boys) are telling that im so small and all that, ugh. aww.. 4 wisdom teeth?!?! *ouch* i think thatll hurt. but oh well, take care!

wow, almost all the ppl who commented are like 5′ to 5′2 o_O; i’m a 5′1 but i look small so that totally resulted in lookin like a 5′ -_-; but i dont mind. i dont want to be too “huge”, and like tall ppl die faster ;p hahaha.
dont worry, at least u’re gettin all four wisdom teeth pull out at the same time. it’s so much better than doing it one like every few month, because then, u have to experience the pain over and over again. x_X;;

Wisdom teeth won’t be so bad! Trust me, the only bad part happens afterwards, but by then you will probably be so drugged up that you won’t remember the pain, etc. In my case though, the mds couldn’t put me out and they tried to use two different kinds, in the end they had to resort to vercet, which is the stuff that hospitals use when doing an amputation or something ~.~

Apparently I have really big wisdom teeth. I just found this out on Tuesday. I can’t even feel them. My plan is to ignore them until they cause me pain.

Dude, you want 2 inches? I’ll gladly give you mine…I don’t particularly enjoy being 5′4″…not when the guys I like are like…5′6″ ;_; It sucks being tall too XP

Ahh, I hate measuring height. I’m 5′3 as well. Actually, I’m a little shorter than that. But everybody who measures me just tell me I’m 5′3. I wish I were taller…. Don’t worry Jen, if you stretch some more, maybe you’ll be able to gain those 2 inches back :)

i hate the fact that when i was growing up, everyone would say I would be THE TALLEST in my house just cuz my legs are "long". [not so true].my cousin [who everyone says i look like when she was younger] told me that the same thing happened to her. everyone told her she would be tall and tall…. but meh… maybe they spoiled our tallness by telling us that so much!!
i hate my height seriously. I WANNA BE TALL!! at least a 5′2 [im asking too much, right?]

Shrinking? ;) Don’t worry, we have short people power! I’m around 5′2″ – 5′3″. And even if in America you feel short, when you go back to Asia, you’re tall or average again =)

Shrinking? Maybe it was just natural gravity, people tend to be shorter at the end of the day then in the morning. That’s a cute necklace and haha, I just did about six hours of Gilmore girls =]

For me I’m 5 feet exact and I haven’t grown for a couple of years now. I’m so afraid of shrinking…I barely made the 5 feet line….

Ahh I’m short too! My height changes a lot also in inches. It sucks. =(
Wisdom teeth… that scares me too. It’ll probably be ok once it’s over.
