Accent Lashes are Love

I scan in random things I want to share but often forget to SHARE them and I go into my junk folder and there they all are! Well I’ll share a bunch of them today!
First up, Ageha & circle lenses! :rainbowtwinkle:
They did a big spread on the girls’ favorite 3 circle lenses. :wakuwakuheart: It’s from the November issue, I think. Yea… I told you I scan stuff & forget!! :lol:
I have links to most major Japanese contact carriers in my links section. Major sites include Max Color, Candy Magic, Angel Color, Vivian, Fall In Eyez.
:lovelymake: I also scanned in a page from Popteen that shows some eyemake tips. I really liked the difference they showed when adding on accent lashes (half lashes) on top of full lashes! :star:

I actually did this for the first time a few weeks ago when I debuted my Max Brown lenses. It’s really nice effect and doesn’t really require much more work than placing the full lashes. Actually it makes my full lashes feel more secure to be honest! Wasn’t as heavy to wear as I expected either!
I wanted to try the really winged, nude look that Kumicky often sports around~~

The full lashes were just typical dramatic full lashes from Hard Candy. The accent lashes I used were Ardell brand Accent lash #305. Yup, drugstore brand! I got mine at CVS actually and have had them for a while. :star2:
I recently got 2 new pairs of accent lashes from Yesstyle. Beauty World Rich Accent Eyelash! :twinklepink: パッチリラビット and キュートなパンダ目. This roughly translate to “Cute Panda Eyes” and “Big & Beautiful Rabbit.” The second one I’m not certain on but seems right. Many of their lashes are named for gorgeous animal eyes, LOL. :kissyfaceheart: I don’t know but it’s so funny but cute :P :kyaaface: :faceaha:

I might just be wearing accent lashes for a while. :cutesy: They’re just so much easier to wear all day long especially when wearing circle lenses~ :good: Paired with Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara it gives enough drama for a more nude look.
Though I’d really like to get these Shu Uemura Mini Star accent lashes! SOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUTE! Why must they be $22? That’s so much for accent lashes, hahahaha! I know, Shu Uemura is super nice quality~~ :rainbowtwinkle:
The seem like accent version of the larger star glitz ones! I couldn’t find them on the US Shu Uemura site for sell. This picture is from Tumblr or a model’s blog or something~ sorry I forget!!

Thanks for sharing all the scans about eyemake and eyelashes. I am still not proficient at doing my eyemake and I have yet to use lashes. I guess I am lucky that some people have asked me if I am wearing false lashes when I do mascara. But I want to use cute lashes!

I saw those lashes the last time I was in a Shu Uemura store (there’s one right up the street). They were adorable! Do you have a Shu Uemura store where you live?

P.S. When you wear falsies, is it pretty much a given that you have to wear black (liquid) eyeliner with it? Otherwise the base part is too obvious, right?

ack! CVS lashes arent cheap either! well at least not in Indiana (I dont live there). and I got my lashes from Forever21 (Canada- I live there…) $3 (Canadian)!!! but their the plasticy kind. hey, I dont mind!…

Shu Uemura’s lashes are love! they have all sorts of fancy eyelashes.. even with animal prints! (like leopard or something) really cool and it’s really eye catching if u wear it to parties :D I think those lashes can be found in the stores here in Asia though.. maybe u should try to buy it off the internet..

The キュートなパンダ目 lashes are very nice. They go great with your circle lenses! :D I was wondering but which lashes tend to look more natural? (brand or the type) I go to CVS and the selection is overwhelming :( i never tried fake lashes but always wanted to. I’m afraid of buying some that look super fake\plastic-y and they end up looking ridiculous on me haha~ Btw thank you for sharing the scans and lovely pics :P

awwwww i love the cute panda lashes! they make a big impact yet look natural in a way…i don’t know how to describe it haha! Does it get annoying to wear both lashes and contact lenses? Is it comfortable??

I bought the Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara recently to see if it would work as a cheaper alternative to my Fiberwig mascara. So far it’s a bit disappointing, but maybe I’m not using it correctly? Oh well. I’ve been seeing a lot of people use Ardell lashes lately…

The Shu Uemura Mini Star accent lashes are lovely. It’s pricey but if you really like them, you could try to recreate the look? I was thinking (and this may not work), you could attach those tiny jewels you’d put on nails onto your accent lashes instead? I’m sure there are other crazy ideas out there :P

I really love the appeal of false lashes and how glitzy-glam or dramatic they can be… but I totally suck at putting them on. :( What kind of glue do you use? I can never get mine to stick~

I got some at sephora, sephora brand for 8 dollars or so?
They give a natural lash look, its like people couldn’t really tell whether or not they are real!
sometimes full false lashes are really obvious!Ha ha!! I think Its funny in the full page scan how they use normal false lashes then accent lashes ON TOP of those >.

Ooo, gorgeous scans of circle lenses :) I wear those regularly myself, but I can’t pull off the color ones, so I just stick to black and dark browns.
I’ve always wanted to try fake lashes, but I’m worried that they might fall off o_o The idea of me in public with fake lashes dangling from my eyes just isn’t pretty. But you look great with them! -

i remember commenting a long time ago asking what sizes of circle lenses do you think japanese models wear and this is perfect!
So they all wear 14.5mm – 15.5mm? aw, i ordered 14mm and its still on its way, maybe i shouldve gotten a bigger size? -

shu uemura lashes look sooooo cute. I normally think deco lashes are a bit tacky, but deco accent lashed are more subtle. lol

I love shu uemura eyelash curler.. lol and if you want to have dolly eyes then contact lens is for you.. i used to have gray and green but now i dont use them anymore.. I plan to make a tutorial about dolly eyes
