Firstly, my SHU UEMURA x AYA TAKANO holiday palette came todaaaaaaaaaay!!
But I’ll take more photos of that later this week :)
I got a YesStyle.com order in last week. I love everything! It’s all so perfect for layering for the late autumn cold/early winter! Right now it’s REALLY cold & rainy too. So I got 2 more white blouses! I’m good, I think, on white blouses now loool! It’s just not easy to find what I’m looking for, you know? So when I saw these I was too eager not to snag them. :kyaaface:
Also got this black, over-sized, open knit, raglan-sleeved, cropped sweater! Reminded me of Rinka ;X. And this open front dark gray dolman sleeved cardigan. It’s incredibly thick and warm. :kissyfaceheart:
Last is this distressed cropped white top! I looove how this looks worn. I really wanted a top like this plus the cap sleeves makes wearing an outer item with it easy. :ohyeslovely:

Mmmm I have some photos from this weekend to post too but I’m super tired and it’s not even 10 yet, so, I’ll be back tomorrow hopefully :P
I’m leaving next week to visit family for Thanksgiving. We usually go the week before Christmas or the week after for New Year’s, but not this year. It’ll be strange. I’m trying to get into the holiday spirit with listening to Christmas music already :grinning: I want it to sorta feel like Christmas time too at Thanksgiving so I won’t feel lonely or anything on Christmas Day or New Year’s hehe :haha:

It can be hard to find nice white blouses that don’t look BLAH once on! I have like quarter of a closet of blah blouses I bought for work that seemed like a good idea at the time~! LOL
I love your black bowler style hat! I’ve been trying to get one here in NZ for months but I have a really small head so most of the hats are too big for me and the rest just don’t quite look right! T___T HEADFAIL!

I totally HEAR YOU about the blouse part and know exactly how you feel. Up to this day I’m still trying to search for the “perfect” blouse. One day I’ll just pay someone to get it custom-made! Hahaha ;P

Also, may I ask where you got your thigh high socks from? I’ve been looking for them, but I haven’t been able to find them anywhere.

how do you find such good things on yesstyle…do you just know what you want and search keywords or something??? D: SO MUCH STUFF ON THERE. and how do you find such good blouses??? i want a good white blouse (or two or three, wtf) but i’m never satisfied with what i find -_-;;
but, yeah! the stuff all looks so good on youuu. my favorite is the PUFFY ruffle tunic~

haha you know i recently grabbed a copy of a free magazine yesterday at one of the many asian ‘cha time’ stores which sells asian kinds of bubble tea etc.. and i only flipped through about the first 3 pages when i found a large double spread advertising shu uemara and all the makeup and lashes available. it made me think instantly of your entry that you wrote about it earlier hahahha

My gosh, looking for winter clothes is always such a pain. Even with layers I’m really cold all the time OTL. It runs in my family to be very sensitive of cold…FML haha. And here I am, in the Netherlands where it gets -10 degrees celsius on winter nights, while I’m already shivering at 6 degrees. Haha.
I’m thinking of ordering some things from Yesstyle as well, I get most of my cute winter sweaters/hoodies there because all the ones I can get in local stores are meh and un-stylish hahaha. -

jenny~ i has a question about yesstyle. i just made my first order there and it’ll be arriving soon. i’m in the US like you, and i was wondering about customs charges… my order is over $100 and everyone keeps telling me i’ll have to pay an extra $70 or something? idk it’s got me scared and confused and i know you order from there often enough so i thought i’d ask you~ tysm !

I seriously haven’t felt much of the holiday spirit yet. It certainly doesn’t feel like Thanksgiving is next week. Perhaps because I’m focused on these midterm exams that are all happening before the break. Maybe once the food pours out and the parade is on TV, it’ll feel like the holidays.

I’ve noticed I am as thin as you (and I’ve been reading your blog forever so I have like…long-term references, haha) buuuut I am pretty tall. I’m like 5′10” and was wondering if I would be able to fit Yesstyle clothes, especially in the shoulders. The measurements confuse me and I would just like to have an American opinion on the fit, etc.
