Cherry Blossoms

Sunday March 27, 2011

I had such a wonderful day yesterday. :deco8: Happiest I’ve been in what feels like too long. :deco11: I didn’t want it to end. The blossoms were near peak, all white instead of pink. :deco1: The sun was shining :sunny: though it was still 30F and breezy… so chilly~~ :deco13:

I’ll update more tomorrow :deco7:

So beautiful, I really love it when all the petals starts to fall off and they’ll cover the streets and sidewalks. (L) Glad you had fun.

And those falsies you’re wearing are so cute. (✿❛◡❛)ノ

White blossoms are so beautiful !
You are very very cute ! ^^
    Nice pic ! :)

    • jenny says:

Ah, thank you *^^* White blossoms really are special, usually people only want to see them when pink but white brightens up the entire city too!

  3. How beautiful!!!

today I was at the castle garden and took photos of cherry blossoms too.

    ^^

  4. JL says:

The flowers (and you) look really beautiful! I wish we had cherry tree parks around my area…

    • jenny says:

Thank you so much *^^*~ Ah I had never even seen cherry blossom trees until I moved here, they’re beautiful for about 2 weeks out of the year then they’re vibrant green or winter naked :P

  5. Firipa says:

nice blue sky! here it’s starting to look more and more like spring, but the sunny days are coming very slowly… london weather…

i want to get some shots of the sakura too! it is so nice to have a picnic under a cherry blossom tree :)

    • jenny says:

Ours are the same, I waited out 3 days of rain then the next day it snowed!! This was just a super lucky Saturday!! Hope we both get more sun soon~~~

  6. Mag says:

I always love the cherry blossoms at the mall! Awh, it makes me miss DC so much… 3: Has it been raining on you all much, yet? I remember it always raining a lot right around April to mid-May, when I would visit there…

I’m glad you had a nice time, though. I think everyone’s spirits are a bit down, here and there, right now… :/ I hope you keep feeling better! :)

    Have a lovely day!
    - Mag

    • jenny says:

Oh yes! It rained for about 3 days before Saturday! So muddy out still. You remember the area well ;)

      • Mag says:

That’s quite a bit of rain, but better rain than snow. :P I bet it is, haha! Awh, thanks. :) I used to go for jogs some mornings at the mall! It’s so beautiful, and tends to be free of tourists at that time. Hehe!~

  7. Cale says:

    you look so cute :_D

  8. Rubi says:

So pretty! I hope the cherry blossoms look as pretty as these this year, new york has had such crappy weather :’(

    • jenny says:

Our weather has and always is crap this time of year. Last year a storm ripped all the blossoms off the trees so I know the paranoia well! Hopefully you’ll get a random nice day like this too to enjoy them in!

  9. Sofia says:

    wow, white cherry blossoms

    • Sofia says:

oops, cut off my comment! i’ll continue:
looks beautiful! we don’t have many cherry blossom trees in my country!
also, i think i have the same jacket :) is yours from h&m?

      • jenny says:

IT IS!! Did you buy yours last year? I think that’s when I got mine. Just a regular duffle down coat with fur trim but it’s nice and warm.

        • Sofia says:

then it’s probably the same one. i also got mine about a year ago ^^ i like that it’s pretty simple but still… kinda cute (and i like the green color + fur)!

  10. Veronica says:

Aw what beautiful photos! Glad it didn’t rain this weekend, right!

  11. sukipooki says:

    • jenny says:

I was there this weekend too! It was veeery chilly but the cherry blossoms were stunning. Because it was cold, though, I didn’t realize the sun was cooking my face and I got sunburnt pretty badly x.x;.

    • jenny says:

Ahhh maybe I saw you, LOL, haahaa~ Wasn’t it so chilly! But the sun SO warm I can’t say I’m surprised you got sunburned. When walking I made the comment, “Ah, it’s days like this that you’re reminded the sun really is just a giant ball of fire,” because it felt SO strong against the cold.

  28. Huynh says:

The cherry blossoms are so pretty. I wish one day I’ll see them face to face :P

    • jenny says:

Ah do they do anything special there for it? I wonder if your trees and my trees are simultaneously peaking (loooooool) because you know… WASHINGTON \:D/

  32. Noelia says:

Beautiful! And you look so pretty with that background :3

  33. Missiku says:

These pictures are amazing, you look so gorgeous! ♥
I love when the trees are full of flowers in the Spring… it’s been raining in Portugal this week, I can’t wait for sunny days! :)

    • jenny says:

Hope the rain goes away. Flowering trees really are beautiful. I used to only live by Magnolia and Dogwood trees so cherry blossoms are still so novel and beautiful for me to see.

  34. Nancy says:

    Love your makeup!

Make sure you report on it if you go ;D♥

Glad you were having a happy do. Haven’t had much of those going around these days~

    • jenny says:

Ahyayayayaa I wonder if I’ll go~~ I don’t have plans to because I mostly worry it’ll be cold & even worse rainy but we’ll see. You should try and stay warm too, I saw you got late snow!

      • Alyse says:

Yes, that snow was uncalled for DD= But its gotten warmer as of late, so hopefully some trees will start blooming..!♥

Oh yeaaa.. the festival had a real bad trend of occurring on rainy days.. But last year was nice. Almost hot even Lol
