Anthropologie Shopping

It was sale time so I popped into Anthropologie this weekend! I love/hate the store. :dizzy: Love basically all their home goods, hate their prices. Nothing new, right ::9: !
It was really hot out… :sunny:

:deco10: Moccasins & Belt – Target
:deco10: Bag – Yesstyle (Ashton)
Was trying on their reading glasses then put on a pair of nearby sunglasses. Cute, sorta squared off, cat eye frames! The lenses are super dark too. :ok: I wasn’t gonna buy them because I have sunglasses.
$6 H&M ones, hahahaga! :lol:
But Mike talked me into it. He’s such an enabler. :deco15:
Truthfully I had been thinking of getting new sunglasses. :deco8: My only other non-broken pair are in that oversized round style. Which I’m sorta getting bored of after years and years of wearing that style. :deco14: I wanted something more… I dunno… Like this, lolol! :celebrate: So I bought em. They were only $24. Haahaaa, yeah, I agonize over any amount of money large or small, it’s a tactic I use to save $$$$ usually. ;D
I want to buy a hard case for these. I usually throw my sunglasses into a cloth pouch and usually they get scratched and broken within a season. I’m seriously terrible with sunglasses. It’s why I could never buy a $300 pair. I KNOW I’d break/lose them. :;_;:
They had these really cute ribbon hair clips but they were for very thick-haired ladies. So cute though. But $32.00… for one?!?! :ng: this is where the hate part of my relationship with the store comes in. A hair clip is more than the sunglasses I bought… :?:
Random thought. I’m not sure if I’m going to get my hair trimmed… I’ll need one soon if I want to keep this style. :!?: And it would freshen up my perm for its final days. But lately I think about having it long again. I dunno. :deco13: I really don’t have strong feelings one way or the other :P But as I figure that out… it’ll still continue on growing… so~ hmmm. :?:

I LOVE those sunglasses! Anthro always has cute frames with nice, dark lenses (love love love.) I feel the same way concerning $300+ pairs but I’m always tempted because some of them are so beautiful. :(

Hehe cute sunnies!! I know what you mean with damaging them though! I bought a pair for $30 because I thought I want something good quality to keep but I ended up scratching one of the lenses D:

I could get one of those bow clips at Wal-Mart or another cheaper retail store like Target, etc.
Oh and I never spend more than 20 dollars on sunglasses because I either lose them or break them. My first pair that I lost cost me less than 4 dollars from Icing by Claire’s. :D
The pair I use now is from Urban Outfitters that cost me around 15 dollars but they are so cute!! Red heart shape frames. :)

I agree completely! I used to be obsessed with the things in that store until I discovered other stores that sold just as cute things for more than half the price! I mean, is it even necessary for them to be priced so high…? It breaks my heart. ;(
Anyway, I really love your new sunglasses! I noticed that the cat-eye frames are the new trend after the bug-eyed look because they’re selling them in ASOS too. :)

I guess the good thing about living in China is that all accessories, such as that cute hair clip, can be obtained for only a few American dollars. And the quality won’t be bad either :)

About cheap sunglasses right.. Try not to use them so much in the sun. u___u Okay I think this sounds wrong.. but there are cases where the cheap lens can make your eyes blind since cheap sunglasses are only meant as accessories. o__o Hmm..

I love it at its current length & it’s a great style for summer (easy, fresh etc).
Also – I love Anthropologie! But I can’t seem to escape it without spending way too much :S -

Aw men you did the right choice in getting a perm on your short hair, I should have done the same. I also had those mixed feelings, about keep it short or not, so I let it grow, and it hit a point where I’m like “heck let it go long again!”. I think you look lovely in short hair :) and it really suits your current style! And while your undecided, just let it grow away like you’re doing :D -

Awww. I love cat eye sunglasses! That hair clip is really expensive. But cuteness wins over price most of the time, or mostly in my situation hahaha. I like your hair short, but since I’ve only been following you for a few months, I have no idea what long hair on you looks like. Either way you can pull both off for sure!

Cute sunglasses! Maybe I’ll try a cat-eye style for my next pair. The ones I have right now are wayfarers, and sometimes when I wear them I feel like a silly hipster, haha.
I’ve actually had a bit of trouble finding a inexpensive hardshell case for sunglasses, but maybe I’m looking in the wrong place.

Yup…Anthropologie is SO over priced… :(( I’ve gotten gifts from there and I’m just APPALLED at the price if I have to return/exchange anything…
Every now and then there’s cute stuff there but I never feel it’s worth it orz

Those sunnies are ADORBS~ I’m in love with the cat-eye style lately too. I really want to buy a ‘good’ (aka expensive XD) pair of sunglasses but I feel like you… I know I’d just break them or lose them *fail*
