Cath Kidston Bags

Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012 | 50 Comments

Sometimes I just become stricken with the “floral-bug.” I saw these Cath Kidston bags on ASOS just now. There’s waaaay more here on the official Cath Kidston website. Not all of them are floral but at least patterned. They’re fun and playful and spring perfect. Great for looking at on a cold rainy day like today. I wouldn’t mind a few of the shopper totes to be honest.
Also I like the models’ coordinates

I “plan” to purchase a Cath Kidston iPhone case someday…
The price. The fact I don’t /need/ it. I want to purchase it in-person. All have kept me from doing so. Not to mention all the rose creams & balms. Eventually…

Don’t do it!
(Hello, by the way! ^-^ This must be the first time I’ve ever commented, I only found your blog recently and I must say, I love it!)

I’ve got a few Cath Kidston items; it’s easy to pick them up in the UK, there’s a couple of stores which stock near I live. I fell for the pretty prints but really wish I hadn’t bothered. I have a messenger bags, a travel card holder and once had a wallet, before it broke. Nice as they look, anything they make using oilcloth cracks easily and my friend’s iPhone case, the print started to scratch off after a few weeks of wear.

Totally not worth the money; a real shame. :(
xoxo.

Ah, seems so much more special and exotic here in the States. Sucks to hear =Y

Totally. D:
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Just they’re kinda expensive for what they are. I hear their tote bags are quite good though, providing you don’t overfill them.

xoxo.

I collect CK stuff but yeah you really do have to think about what you buy cause it might not be worth it in the long run, I mostly collect the homewares like the mugs (I detest small cups of tea) and the enamel things. I think looking in store is best though then you can gauge the quality for yourself.

Boo, the US has like 0 actual shops now. The one in NY closed ;__; *a reason I’ve yet to buy anything, I’d rather purchase in person.

I love Cath Kidston but the prices on their bags and pretty much everything makes me sad! But I love their darker floral prints and dot prints… everything is just so adorable…

I don’t like Cath Kidson’s bags for a reason, floral prints may be cute but.. the pvc totally turns me off. :/ It’s like holding a recycling bag. :/ Kay I might be bias but.. I admit I really love their prints!

Yay! Cath Kidston! I love their designs so much~ But yeah, prices are a bit much, especially when you include shipping to the US!! :(

I do have a small purse, mirror, and tissue case that came as a gift with one of their Japanese catalogs though, and I just love them to bits.

They are alot of counterfeits here and I can never figure out the difference~ I guess that’s why I never planned on getting one — it’s commonly seen.

But now that you posted it, it looks so great the way they carry it! @@ I love the pairing with those lovely shoes~

I absolutely adore the last travel bag! The brown fabric with all those decos and the strap gives them such a “vintage travel” vibe! Loves! I use Cath Kidston notebooks for school and they are fab!!!

So excited to dig out my Cath Kidston & other floral items for spring. As much as I love sweaters and winter clothing, I’m looking forward to not having to wear a thick jacket all the time.

I have a small CK crossbody bag that I’ve had for about a year–I love it! I haven’t had any problems with it at all (in contrast to one of the above posts). It’s funny, I actually got it for the best price from Rakuten, and they shipped it from the UK, haha. The price with shipping wasn’t too bad…maybe around $70USD?

Ah yes, Cath Kidston’s stuff is lovely, isn’t it?? So feminine and pretty. I’ve longed for a makeup bag for a while, a small one that can go in my purse.

I’ve thought about getting one since I saw one of my classmates toting around cath kidston. I just wish they had more patterns to choose from. The only thing that concerns me is matching my coordinates with such bold floral print. I wish the price wasn’t as steep

totally off topic, don’t know if you like estee lauder but i use their soft clean toner for dry skin and it has a lovely rose scent. just thought you’d might like to try it

jenny said
March 2, 2012 @ 5:09 pm

Unfortunately it doesn’t look to be oil-free? I tend to break out unless the product is oil-free. Makes experimenting with wonderful new products less fun, haha *cries

Nancy said
March 3, 2012 @ 11:08 am

Oil-free it is not….y’know i’m the same way. I break out with cream moisturizers and sun block. I usually stick to oil-free products too, but figured that toners usually are too drying for me so i got the gentle one to be safe. I’ve used half of it so far, and so far so good. The scent is heavenly. Sometimes I’ll just stand there, smelling the soaked cotton ball for a good five minutes. If your ever in a department store and at the estee lauder counter, give it a sniff and let me know what you think.

Funny! I just bought a blue pink rose printed Cath Kidston cell phone case two weeks ago! I love it! VERY slimming, and sometimes my hand isn’t used to it not being bulky from my other cases. I would be careful though, it does look like it could wear down easily!
