The Art of Video Games

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I wore triple green. Green dress, mint green blazer, green belt.

Went to the American Art Museum today for “a conversation with Hideo Kojima” and the Art of Video Games exhibit.



Afterwards we went out for Guinness. I don’t drink much so I just had a diet soda. Not very festive but refreshing. :P It was a beautiful day here in DC though, couldn’t have asked for better weather. lolol

    Nice dress, but what else happens on st.patrick’s day?
    I only know about this day from a cartoon and in it people would get hit when they’d wear something orange :p

      I dunno about the orange thing … it’s customary to be pinched if you’re not wearing green though. Then basically everyone gets drunk. The end :)

    Ohhh thanks so much for sharing :D Metal Gear Solid is one of my favourite videogames ever and well yeah.. Hideo Kojima is a genius! Really awesome the Smithsonian has an exhibition about videogames. Well.. the whole museum is pretty awesome, I think. I hope I can visit it someday!

    Oh gosh I’m so jealous you got to visit the Art of Video Games. I hope to visit it some day. It’s a huge step in the right direction for video games to be regarded as art in the mainstream.

    St. Patty’s in Philly had lovely weather as well!! Woot!! Green! The best!!

    I didn’t have Guinness myself – had a Young’s Double Chocolate Stout instead….and then some Ommegang Hennepin………. XD
