I Love Organic Rose
Wednesday September 26, 2012
I love the two Meishoku Organic Rose items I picked up in April. Absolutely love.

First the “hair water.” It’s been great to use in the mornings before blow drying. It was especially helpful during summer on a sun-tortured scalp. It mostly leaves my scalp feeling moisturized but it also adds a nice but light texture to my hair as well. If I’m running late in the morning I’ll just use this and blow dry. It gives my hair a nice sleek look without looking completely undone. Smooths flyaways and helps with damaged ends.
Oh and smells great! Of course! Like fresh rose.
It’s a light scent and not too overpowering. Described as “fruity rose.”

It can be used on towel dry hair or completely dry hair. The scent is extremely subtle when used on towel dry hair. When used on dry hair the scent is more apparent like a body spray. I tend to use it before blow drying, to protect my hair from the styling heat but it’s often used as a refresh spray for bedhead or messy hair after going out because it “cuts” the smell of food and tobacco. It’s also silicone-free. I think it might be really good for static come winter! I end up with really electrified hair during winter months.
OH GOD, and now this exists too!?
The second product I have is the Organic Rose Skin Conditioning Gel. It’s a clear gel that moisturizes and tightens. I mostly use this on days I wash my makeup off after work. It gives my skin a nice extra boost of moisture. I use it a few times a week. It smells amazing and does a great job plus the jar lasts. Though I think it’s too tacky of a gel to use in the morning before applying makeup. I’ve only ever used it when I knew I’d be makeup-free.

I said this before but, again, I regret not buying the toner of this series. Also there’s a new moisturizing cream out now that I would love to try.

E-zakkamania
Tuesday September 25, 2012
E-zakkamania is a Japanese online retailer specializing in Kobe select-shop style brands. These items are very sweet and basic focusing on comfortable casual layers, textures, and of course with an all around “zakka” quality to them. Heavy on the knits! The retailer has also teamed up with magazines like Fudge, Girl’s Style, and Vikka for special coordinate collaborations.
One thing I really like about this online store is that they’ll often times show multiple sizes of an item on the same model. It gives you a better idea of which size might best suit the fit you want. :deco2:
