Easter Pastels

These are probably the only spring colored items I’m using lately. Anything more feels too soon with the chilly weather.

This blue MERCURYDUO tote is the free item with the latest issue of Sweet. It’s one of the recent freebies I’ve actually liked. Their “Take me to MERCURYDUO” reminded me of Kastane’s “Take me to ___” slogan from last year. And their text and choice of pastel color reminded me a bit of the Maison de Reefur shopper.

I’ve been using the Maison de Reefur tote lately on warmer days. The soft cotton fabric is so easy to sling around when running errands. :)

    I’ve got that tote too! My friend brought me some magazines from Japan, and Sweet was one of them (mini was another, and it came with a pretty cool wallet by ikumi that I like a lot and am using now). At first I wasn’t sure how I liked the tote, but it’s grown on me. It’s giving some pretty good advice too, haha. The Maison de Reefur tote is pretty cute too.

    Is Sweet always that large? Also, I wasn’t sure Sweet would fit exactly with my style, then I saw the Rinka spread at the beginning and I thought, “No, this is perfect!”
    I imagine you having a tote filled with totes and other magazine freebies since you seem to get Japanese magazines on a regular basis, haha.

      Sweet is usually pretty big. Like Vogue sized each month with a few skinnier off months (like June or other unimportant months.)

      I actually donate a lot of the totes and things I get from Sweet but some things I keep and love like Cher totes and a Coach wallet they included a few months back! They had this great MBMJ pouch set too a while back that I use daily.
