Transitional Pains

My find of the week. I love gaudy gorgeous girly bargains. Speaking of finds, I hate having a new address on a newly created street! It’s true. Not only do we still not have cable TV & internet access because the company has shit-fits over new communities, I got an 8 am call from the US Postal Service today saying my package from HK cannot be delivered because my address “doesn’t exist.” ~sigh~ I had to explain where the street is located (literally 1 block up from the post office for christ’s sake!) And in the end I’m still having to pick it up at the Post Office tomorrow 
. I’m worried because on April 30th we can no longer check our mail here at the apartment yet things keep getting rerouted here despite us filling out every necessary change of address form. It’s all because the street is brand new & in only 1/2 their systems. 
blegh. I’ll shut-up now 
We move in Sunday though YAY わ━━♪。☆*o┤*´∀｀*├o*☆。♪━━ぃ
I haven’t plugged my flickr in a while, so I figured I’d do that now

Can’t they do something about their computer systems? :S It’s not like it’s only going to be you living on that street so I think they should update or something~

And yea, I totally agree, I don’t know why all these companies can’t get their crap together! It’s not just us bitching too, it’s ALL the neighbors and much more. It’s really ridiculous especially for living in a slammed packed metro area! It’s not like I’m out in the woods or something ;___;, I’m in the most populated county in the state.

An annoying thing about moving is worrying about not getting your mail. *sigh* I hope everything is gonna work out! And good luck with moving in

Wow that cup is lovely! You take such awesome pics! I envy your skillz *.*. Your address doesn’t exist? O.O No internet or cable?? That sucks! I hope the services start working soon! Congrats on moving into your new home! Ooo, and Happy 25th birthday BTW!

Argghh! Mail horrors! D;
We’re STILL getting wads of mail from the people at our old place and it’s been 4 years since we moved! I’m serious! And it’s not like we moved far away (the next suburb over and approximately only 3 streets (well, roads) away from our old house) ~!

man that’s such a pain about your address. that happened with my family, too. when i was like 15/16 we moved into a brand new community and no one ever got their mail. it was such a hassle! i remember getting my birthday cards like 2 weeks late because of that. (& that was several months after we had moved in!
)

yeh living in a new community is annoying when it comes to installations of internet and tv and sometimes it’s not in people’s melways! =_=” i hope it all works out soon.

I have never lived on a newly created street…I hope things will get easier for you guys….it must be very very annoying ehhhhh~~

oh my, that seems like such a pain… but kind of funny because it’s almost like you live in a secret place! i hope the street gets added to people’s maps soon and that you won’t have too many problems!

This reminds me of this one time I ordered a CD online and apparently I didn’t hear the doorbell to pick up the package, so I had to go ahunting for the femail man up and down the streets of my neighborhood. I would’ve waited to resend it, but it was a BoA CD

Oh and another, my cousin just moved into these new houses about an hour outside of LA and they made this hilarious typo for her street, seeing as it was supposed to be LUIGI but it ended up being LUIGL. Go figure..

How terrible that they don’t have the streets up in the system yet. They should have done it before the residents moved it. Hope everything gets better soon.

oh that does sounds annoying! i do think it’s a little weird that your street isn’t in the system though.. i mean they must have known about building for years probably. oh well… i guess that’s how things go.. i hope it works out and happy moving on Sunday!

. It’s quite girly… (i’m not girly) but I still like it.
That sucks about your mail. My address has been there forever but it takes long to send mail anywhere & it has gotten lost.
New street?? o_O. Hopefully the post office fixes the issues soon.
