Roses Making a Comeback

My rose bush is finally making a comeback! After the icky ordeal of them being attacked by ruthless pests, they are blooming nonstop

. I also received a package today from my grandparents. Fresh homemade biscotti, pizzelle (?), and strawberry fig preserves! I really feel loved when they send me things. Living so far from family… it’s so easy to think they don’t care about you. Especially when they never ever try to visit you (rawr, they’ll never see my house, ever.) But these things… help make those feeling drift away.

WarGames was playing on AMC tonight… it made me feel really old. Made in 1983 (whoot my birth year!) It was one of my favorite movies growing up. I know AMC doesn’t just play old classics anymore… but nevertheless, hahahahah

Oh, oh oh! Mike sent me this video! It’s so funny/cute/scary-creepy if you like owls!!

Σ(；) the eyes are sooo bigg-but actually my cats eyes are always dilated to that huge for some reason [probably cus my room is always dark], so i thought ‘oh its like my cat!’
..still kind of strange though (￣∀￣)

and the flowers look nice! watering plants can be calming.

My dad pretty much takes care of the garden at home…He’s always outdoors.

I’ve been super busy, as you probably have been too. I’m still in school! Booooo! A lot of people from high school are graduating this year. I’m so jealous. Hahahhahaa.

Your roses are terrific! This yellow-pink mix is fantastic!

I know how you feel. I lived in a different city (not that far, just three hours by car) and my father never EVER visited me! he has no idea how my house was like! my mom came just twice, in the first year, and then when I moved back to her house. I used to feel so lonely… It’s like they didn’t even care besides you know they care… blah!

yay for roses! There’s a rose garden by my office I walk by everyday. We get money from our grandparents which is pretty sweet as well. Happy gardening!

wow the roses look beautiful…i love how they are two colors….we have rose bushes too…but they are just solid colors like red and yellow….i love the gradient yours have~

I love receiving packages from my grandmother…..i always have to tell her that i don’t want anything cause it’s hard for her, but she always sends stuff anyways haha~

The video was soo funny…I showed it to everyone…it’s amazing how it can do that~

Aww your roses look great! Mine’s still a baby at the moment. All the other flowers are blooming, though. It’s such a pretty time of year, isn’t it?

I just read your twitter that your car is costing you heaps of money - amen to that! lol! I think we spent about £1000 on ours in the space of three months!!! :/

The roses are beautiful. I can’t seem to keep flowers or plants alive. It’s great that the family sends you packages. At least you know you’re on their mind. :-)

I love getting unexpected packages especially from loved ones because it makes you fell and warm and squishy inside, haha!
